3. What are the qualities you
look for in an applicant when shortlisting for your final selections?

We believe education should not be
limited on basis of background, profile or any other criteria. Anyone who has
the desire to learn, grow and excel should be given a right platform so that
they can be dreamers, achievers and winners. And we at IZEE business school
believe in providing such a platform for our future leaders. We at IZee
business school like to think of ourselves as ENABLERS who enable our students
in achieving their visions and goals

Preference
is given to students with pre work experience, even if they are not matching up
to the required criteria of selection. (A margin of 10-15% is given to students
with pre work experience) Any students having pre MBA work experience is one
who enters the college after clearing the entire round with the clear edge over
the others and we encourage such students who want to expand their academic
horizon, which will help them open new doors of opportunity and growth.

Admission process in our college:

1) As per the university
guidelines any student having an aggregate of 50% or more in any UG stream can
apply for this course.

2) Screening: applications are screened
on basis of competitive exams  such as
CAT,MAT,KMAT and the candidates who are scoring more than 50% are selected are
invited for a written examination.

3) GD: Students scoring more than
60% in the written examination are processed to the next round that is the
group discussion. Over here the communication skills and the thought process of
the student is evaluated.

The students who clear the GD are processed to the next round which is personal
interview. Here the candidates face an interview in front of panel of experts,
who evaluate the student’s on different parameters.

5) Admissions: The students who satisfy
above criteria’s are offered admissions in our college.

4. What
according to you is the one progressive change that you’d like to see in the
management education scenario in the country today?

Keeping in
mind the present education system it would be great to see the shift from pure
classroom curriculum to more practical outbound curriculum. This will not only
provide students a better exposure but also develop their analyzing and
decision making capabilities which is very critical and important for future
managers of India.
