The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) is one of the five Central Armed Police Forces of India, raised on 24 October 1962, under the CRPF Act, in the wake of the Sino-Indian War of 1962. The ITBP was intended for deployment along India’s border with Chinese-occupied Tibet.

Remuneration (In Rs. per month) : 15,600 – 39,100 + Grade Pay of 5,400/-
Maximum age limit (as on 01-08-2014) : candidates should not be more than 35 years old.
Essential qualification : Interested candidates should possess a bachelor degree in any stream from any recognised university or institution.
Method of selection : The selection of the candidates will be based upon Written Examination, Professional Skills, Easy, Physical Standard Test, & Physical Efficiency Test.
