Thank you girls and boys for liking and sharing earlier article, well I have few more tips I would like to share
# 0.1 If you are all alone and suddenly you see 3 or 4 ‘awkward’ people coming and if it is dark, just make a gesture with both hands as if you pressed some button on your mobile and quickly put it in bag, does not matter if you really have mobile with you, if they are far away they will think that you have ‘pressed’ some alarm and within 10 minutes some police will be there, most probably ‘they’ will run away. Illusion, but guaranteed to work ?
1. At unknown place : If you are at some hotel or attending some wedding and you don’t trust that door, you can tie your ‘payal’ or keychain to door, anything that will make noise if that door opens.
2. You can place a chair next to door or window so if anybody (even if a cat) opens that window and tries to come in will be unaware and you will get at least some time to take action.
3. Drinks : Always buy your own water bottles and soda cans, no need to share,they are use and throw!
4. Traveling alone : If you are traveling alone it is a safe and easy trick to pretend that you are talking with a lot of people on phone and you have relatives all around, I do that, just pretend that you are talking with your chachajee and say “Oh yes, Lonavala? No no, I am near Pune now…next stop is xyz, I have traveled here 1000 times unclejee, I know how to bargain” Etc etc…
5. Learn a few phrases related to place you are heading to : If the journey is anything more than 8 hours, you should totally ‘rattamar’ a few phrases and greet the driver or waiter, that ‘desi’ touch will give you extra security in case you need!
6. With friends: Make sure your parents have phone numbers of at least 2 of your best friends, there is no harm in it.
7. Image : It helps if people ‘think’ that you share everything with your mom-dad and if you get in any trouble they will support you, it will demoralize a lot of ‘known’ & ‘possible criminals’, they are looking for easy targets! Not those girls who will stand up and send them to jail.
