IRDA Recruitment 2019: 45 Vacancies Apply Online

The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDA) is an autonomous, statutory body tasked with regulating and promoting the insurance reinsurance industries in India. IRDA was constituted by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority Act, 1999,[2] an Act of Parliament passed by the Government of India. IRDA headquarters are in Hyderabad, Telangana, where it moved from Delhi in 2001.

IRDA is a 10-member body including the chairman, five full-time & four part-time members appointed by the government of India.

Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India has issued notifications for recruiting eligible candidates to the vacancies as Officers on Special Duty (OSD) through Deputation of officers from PSU Insurance companies and Financial Sector Regulators. Deputy General Manager-Legal

Graduation with 60% marks and LL.M with 60% marks.

Level of officers eligible:

Scale V officers, or

Scale IV officers with minimum 5 years of service in that scale.

Experience: 15 years

Deputy General Manager-Life

Graduation with 60% marks and Fellow of Insurance Institute of India (FII)

Level of officers eligible:

Scale V officers, or

Scale IV officers with minimum 5 years of service in that scale.

Experience: 15 years

Deputy General Manager-Non-Life

Post Graduation with 60% marks and Fellow of Insurance Institute of India (FII)

Scale V officers, or

Scale IV officers with minimum 5 years of service in that scale.

Experience: 15 years

Assistant General Manager-Actuarial

Graduation with 60% marks and Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries India (IAI)

Scale IV officers, or

Scale III officers with minimum 5 years of service in that scale.
