IIT-Hyderabad Registration for fellowship programme

CFHE (The Centre for Healthcare Entrepreneurship) was established in the year December 2015 at IIT Hyderabad with a purpose to catalyse healthcare modernization with a focus on reasonable solutions.

IIT (The Indian Institute of Technology) Hyderabad has invited applications for the fellowship programme determined on universal healthcare solutions with training and incubation opportunities. The candidates can apply through the official website. The last date to apply for the fellowship programme is 30th November 2019. The admission process will begin in January 2020.

The fellowship programme in IIT Hyderabad provides a sum of Rs.50000/ per month during the first year of training, which includes a deep clinical concentration in private and public hospitals and exposure to the healthcare industry. The candidates will also get the opportunity to learn about the bio-design process from the academics at IIT Hyderabad and also be offered access to mentors, investors, advisors, and industry professionals.

Eligibility Criteria:

The candidates should have completed B. Tech/BE degree or higher, MBBS/BDS or higher, B. Des or higher. Successful candidates will have to show the prior track records in entrepreneurship in order to be selected for the fellowship programme.

The prearranged and wide-ranging curriculum aims to assist entrepreneurs in taking their innovation from lab-prototype to commercialization through topics like intellectual property, compliance aspects, entrepreneurship development, markets, rights, and new ventures, business plan development, and business models.

The successful start-ups selected from this fellowship programme will be given opportunity at CFHE incubator with a grant of Rs.25 lakh.
