The event was held as a part of peer and industry interaction program under the leadership series which provides skills in guiding a company to success, added the release. Dr. Aghi has 25 years of industry experience and a MBA, a doctorate in internal relations and an advanced management diploma from Harvard, stated the release.

He was stated in the release as laying emphasis on qualities that one should posses in recessionary times also stressing need of work-life balance and people management in one’s career. He was against the idea of laying-off people and considered them as assets of a company; for IT companies he suggested to reduce their operational costs and tap newer markets.

This is the second batch of IPMX which started in 2008. It is an one year full-time program which has 46 participants, majority from engineering background having an average nine years of work experience. The program focuses on leadership roles for middle and senior level managers.
