Admission for first cut off list got extended for a day by the University of Delhi for those students whose admission has been on hold for some reasons. Admission for the students under the first cut off list was supposed to end on 1st of July 2019. This extension took place due to the lack of coordination between the state boards and central boards such as CISCE and DU. The main issue faced by the students is the conversion of GPA to percentage especially for the states like Andhra Pradesh and Telangana State. It has been requested by the Andhra Pradesh government to the central board that the admission should be done based on marks. DU confirmed that the admission of the students from Andhra Pradesh will be reconsidered based on the marks obtained. Fresh admission will be done based on the marks and previous admission based on grades will be cancelled. This year DU introduced, modern India language as an elective language by the candidates without any deduction in marks. Some students are facing this issue as their preferred language is not matching with the list. DU made their move to rectify these issues and take up the admission process as fresh.
