The role of senior research fellow is to develop, engage in and lead high quality project research that is aligned with the University’s research areas. This senior fellow research post will have all the works regarding agriculture and how to improve the techniques.
The applications for the post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) are out and have been published by Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya (CSKHPKV). These applications are to be done via offline mode.

The eligibility criteria for the post can be given as follows:
- Master’s degree in Agronomy
- Master degree in Soils
- Master’s degree in agrometerology
- Master’s Degree in vegetable
- Masters in Sciences
- Master of Computer Application with a diploma in remote sensing
- GIS from a recognized university/ Institute
- Master’s degree in life sciences with NET qualification.
- Good working knowledge or handling the crop models, GIS and remote sensing software
- Experience in Crop weather modelling, data analysis and related areas.
- Candidates having bachelor’s degree in sciences will be preferred.
- This project work requires extensive travel around the state.
