The KEAM exam is conducted for entry to
various professional degree courses in the state of Kerala. This year, the exam
is scheduled from the 20th to the 23rd of April 2015. In this exam, engineering
aspirants need to appear for two papers – Paper 1, which comprises Physics
& Chemistry, and Paper 2, which consists of Mathematics. The exam is
conducted across all major venues in the state of Kerala and in cities like
Mumbai, New Delhi and Dubai, among others.

Established
in 1993, the College of Engineering, Chengannur is affiliated to Cochin University
of Science and Technology (CUSAT) and is approved by the AICTE. It is a
Government sponsored self -financing institute. The
college allots 50% of the seats to merit based admissions, 35% is reserved for
management seats while the rest 15% are for the NRI quota admissions.
The
college offers courses in Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics &
Communication engineering, Electrical & Electronics engineering with an
intake of 120 students each. While the department of Electronics &
Instrumentation admits 60 students every year.
