and Tourism and the memento was handed out by Shri Subimal Bhattacharjee, renowned
International Cyber Security Expert and former Country Head, General Dynamics
at a gala event held at Hotel JW Marriott, Bengaluru, on Sunday, March 29, 2015,
7:00 PM.   Other B Schools that got the
recognition are Great Lakes, BITS Pilani, Apeejay and others.

‘Education Evangelist of India’ is a private
recognition given to Educational visionaries and Thought Leaders of India.  Education Evangelist of India – SkillTree’s Annual
Thought Leadership convocation ceremony is the culmination of efforts of an
in-depth research to identify 20 people from across the nation for their exemplary
work and contribution to the domain of higher education. A television series by
the same name as the award  – the first
ever television series, started in 2013 in media partnership with ET NOW,
documented and showcased the journey of the awardees, culminating in an annual Coffee
Table book and a convocation ceremony.

With a historic presence of over 6000
years, the scope and importance of the education sector plays a mammoth role in
our emerging economy and  while India is
fast moving towards becoming one of the most preferred destinations for higher
education for all stakeholders alike – students, investors, scholars and international

Royal Academy (MYRA)
is a public charitable trust established in 2010 and
as part of its mission established the MYRA School of Business in 2011 as its
first educational endeavor to bring about a transformative change in the
business education landscape in India.  While the
long term vision of MYRA is to be a sought after world-class private university
in India, in the short term, it is already positioning to be a top ranked
Business School.  MYRA offers best
possible infrastructural facilities, international caliber faculty, global

MYRA currently offers a two-year
AICTE-approved Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and a one-year Post
Graduate Program for eXecutives (PGPX). 
In addition, it offers customized Executive education programs and a PhD
Program in Management sciences.  The
institute currently has 107 students from 22 Indian states; there is also one
UAE national – all having diverse subject backgrounds including Commerce,
Dentistry, Engineering, Pharma and Tourism.

MYRA has partnered with Catolica-Lisbon School
of Business and Economics, Portugal, Bothell School of Business at The
University of Washington, US and W.P Carey School of Business at Arizona State
University, USA, to facilitate a study-abroad experience for its students.

The current graduating students have been
successfully placed in high profile companies like Companies such as Abbott
India Ltd, Atul Ltd, HDFC, IVirtual CFO, Magic9, Maveric Systems, Mphasis,
Nielsen, NxtGen, Oracle, Pramati Technologies,, Sonata software, Talisma,
Tecnova Global, Unilog Corp, Ypaycash with salaries in the range of 6 to 19
lakhs. Final round of interviews at RBL, Surewaves, DCB Bank and others are on.
