Canara Bank is an Indian state-owned bank headquartered in Bengaluru, the state capital of Karnataka. It was established in 1906, making it one of the oldest banks in the country. The government nationalised the bank in 1969. As of March 2015, the bank had a network of 5675 branches and more than 8533 ATMs spread across India. The bank also has offices abroad in London, Hong Kong, Moscow, Shanghai, Doha, Dubai, and New York.

The Canara Bank has invited candidates for multiple posts. The details of these vacancies are as follows :

Maximum age limit : Candidates should not be more than 35 years for the position of Senior Vice President, 32 years for the position of Vice President, 30 years for the position of Assistant Vice President and 27 years for the position of Project Manager ( all age limits as on 30.09.2015)

Method of selection : The selection of the candidates will be depend upon the short listing based on their qualification, experience and extra curricular activities and will be followed by a personal interview.

Probation : The selected candidates will be on probation for a period of 12 months.
