Airforce AFCAT Result 2019

The Indian Air Force (IAF) had announced the recruitment opportunity for various posts which will be filled up by the Air Force Common Admission Test or AFCAT. After successfully conducting the AFCAT exam, the Indian Air Force has announced the release of the results for the same on its official website.

The various posts that will be filled up by the AIR AFCAT exam 2019 include the following –

  • Flying
  • Ground Duty (Technical)
  • Ground Duty (Non-technical)
  • NCC Flying
  • Meteorology

These courses will commence from the upcoming year, 2020. The recruitment process for the aforementioned posts had started in June, 2019. Candidates who had applied for the exam, appeared for it on 24th and 25th of August, 2019.

The AFCAT exam is an online test which consists of objective questions. The exam is conducted only in English and no other language. Candidates were awarded 3 marks for a right answer and penalised with 1 mark for every wrong answer.

The results for AFCAT 2019 can be downloaded by following the steps mentioned below –

  1. Visit the official website

The official website of AFCAT is www.afcat.cdac.in The official website is a highly authentic source for downloading the exam results. It is preferable that other links are avoided by the candidates.

  1. Login

Once the home page opens up, candidates will require to log in with their credentials. They are advised to keep their credentials ready before starting the process to avoid confusion and delay. In order to log in, candidates will have to fill in their Username, the correct Password and a code or a Captcha. Once the details are filled, press login.

  1. Download and save the result

Upon logging in, the result for IAF AFCAT 2019 will appear on the candidate’s computer screen. Make sure to carefully check the results. Candidates must then download the result in a PDF format and save it as a soft copy on their computers. Make sure to save your result in a secure and easily accessible folder.

  1. Take a printout

Candidates can also take a printout of their IAF AFCAT result. This can be preserved in the form of a hard copy which can be a very important document in the future.

The final selection will be made by the Indian Air Force after a very stringent process that will comprise of several levels. After the online AFCAT, candidates will have to undergo 5 more stages of training and tests before the merit list is finally prepared.
