All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi is one of the most reputed institutions in the country. The entrance examination for the AIIMS Doctor of Medicine and Master of Surgery (MD and MS) courses was held on November 13, 2016. The results for the first stage of the selection which includes the entrance test will be announced today, November 19, at 5 pm on the AIIMS official website.
AIIMS offers MD and MS courses at five cities including Delhi, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Jodhpur, and Rishikesh, with a total of 190 seats for the January 2017 academic session. Each candidate appearing for the entrance test must hold an MBBS degree from a university or institute recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI), along with a one-year mandatory internship completed on or before January 30, 2017.
