There are basically two types of engineers that India produce. One are those who study hard or just get lucky and enter IIT’s and the other are all same shit at different location. I myself is one among those 90% engineers who passed out from a private engineering college.
Being in a private engineering college the most happiest days was when I got placed in an IT company. Frankly speaking I don’t remember what happened after that in the semester as everything went passed in a hangover. Like every other engineer I started my carrier promising myself that I wont repeat my mistakes again and I would work harder day and night. One month passed and so the second and third but by then I have realized that IT is not my cup of tea. By then life had changed a lot from a mere pocket money to a well to do salary. This is the time the dilemma aroused. And to act as catalyst the big MBA dream was born again. There were new friends whom you cant say no when they invite for a drink, life’s first appraisal was near so cant say no to the boss and at the same time own dream to do MBA which at that point of time was compromised.
After working for more then three years in IT, one thing that I am sure every person who has stayed here for longer years look retarded.Whole day they will be planning for the evening party and after taking two shots they would start discussing about work.
The most interesting piece is our Managers who would do anything to get the work done and at the end of the day they wont even appreciate you. Sometimes I think there should be a museum opened to keep these antique pieces.
Life is much more hell if one gets a support project as the dialogue of movie ” pyaar ka panchnama ” would be the tag line. Kuttoon ka koi sunday nahin hota bhai kutte satoon din kutte hi rehte hain.
The most embarrassing situation is for the girls who are one or two in a team. As starting from manager to all her juniors would be her escort, adviser, financier just to be friends with benefits. God please help girls in surviving IT industry
