IRMASAT 2019 Result

The result will be published around March 15 2019, along with the GA-PI merit list for the final admission at IRMA. IRMASAT result commands 10% weight age.

Selection process:

IRMASAT selection process 2019 involves three steps. In the first step, the candidates must appear for CAT 2018 or XAT 2019 exam. In the second step, the candidate’s will be short-listed by IRMA to appear for the IRMASAT exam i.e. online exam and the third stage involves the Group activities and Personal interview rounds.

The short-listed candidates will be informed about their date of IRMASAT exam 2019 and PI and GA as all these selection process takes place on the same day.

The short-listed candidates list will be announced in the 2nd week of February 2019.  The final result of IRMASAT will be announced in 1st week of March 2019.

The candidates who clear the IRMASAT 2019 cut off based on CAT 2018 and XAT 2019 will be shortlisted and appear for the exam and for Group Activities (GA) and Personal Interview (PI).

The call for the candidates will be based on the CAT 2018/XAT 2019 scores. If the candidate has appeared for both the exams and has both scores the highest score of the two tests will be considered.

Group Activity and the Personal interview are conducted to test the candidates knowledge and understanding of rural issues of the country, also to find if the candidates have the aptitude to fulfill the roles and responsibilities of a management professional operating in cooperatives, NGO’s, and developmental organizations.

The Group Activity is an elimination round in which the candidates are given a topic to discuss in the given time limit. The candidates are judged on their active participation, communication skills, and knowledge on that topic.

The Personal interview is a more personalized round in which the candidate get into face to face interaction with the interviewer. The candidates are judged on their communication skills and aptitude for rural management field.

The candidates who appear for the GA and PI there are some parameters by which they are short-listed. The following table shows the parameters to short-listed candidates for GA and PI

Candidates of general category, the candidates who have scored above 85 percentile in CAT 2018/XAT 2019 are eligible to be shortlisted for GA and PI and they fall in the non-profile based criteria.

Candidates of general category, the candidates who have scored above 80 percentile in CAT 2018/XAT 2019 and fall in the Profile based call criteria will be short-listed for IRMASAT and PI and GA process.

They short-list the candidate’s based on profile criteria like graduation from top universities and colleges and work experience in social impact, community, development, livelihoods, policy, agriculture, and allied sectors and graduation in social, agricultural and allied sciences.

The final admission is based on the entire selection process of IRMASAT which takes into the account of the candidate’s profile, academic record, entrance test scores( CAT 2018/ XAT 2019), work experience any, and performance in IRMASAT, performance in Group Activity and Personal Interview.
