Vemuri and Namburu Dileep Bhargav – completed a two-week intense Global Immersion Program at the Bothell
School of Business, University of Washington, Greater Seattle area, USA, May-June
2015. 

The 2-week
Global Immersion Program at Bothell entailed a set of academic workshops taught
by UWB faculty and local business leaders; two workshops on Search Engine Marketing & Game Theory; and Industry Visits.  MYRA
students got an opportunity to explore
business practices adopted in aerospace, technology and supply chain management
in companies such as Nintendo, Boeing, Microsoft, Amazon, T-Mobile, Winshuttle
and others in the Pacific Northwest areas. These were followed by interactive
sessions with company leadership members and a discussion on “Futures and Options“.  They had an opportunity to participate
and interact at the TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs), Seattle event “Big Data:
Trends, Challenges, and Opportunities” held at Microsoft, Redmond, Washington
on June 2, 2015. Hands-on pragmatic learning experiences were the key takeaways
of the program, said Prof. Shalini Urs, Chairperson, MYRA.

The participants
received a Course certificate signed by Dr. Sandeep Krishnamurthy, Dean,
Bothell School of Business, University of Washington, Seattle, who spearheaded this
program.  He is also a visiting faculty
member of MYRA and teaches Digital Interactive Marketing and related topics at
MYRA.
