This is Apurv here, have done B.E. in Information Technology and have 2 years of Work Ex (14 Months at Infosys and the rest at Cybage!). Currently working as a Sr. QA Engineer with Cybage and aim to crack 'CAT 2010' and some 'sad jokes'!!!

Doing my BE. in Electronics & Instrumentation, and M.Sc. in Economics (Integrated) from BITS Pilani Goa Campus

Would be working as a Research Analyst Intern at Frost & Sullivan Kolkata for my Compulsory 1 Year Internship to complete my degree.

I was the Elected Student Union President this academic year, and Cultural Secretary/festival Organizing committees before that (Handled Publicity/PR generally) Did a couple academic projects on behavioral economics n marketing research etc.

My teachers/mentors suggested an MBA to further develop my manegerial acumen and to sharpen my decision making, so here I am 😃

hey i just wanted to know if i hold a graduate degree like BA in human resource or BA in marketing, advertising and sales promotion then am i eligible for MBA? as in not specialised MBA in HR or anything else?

Few of the colleges considered good in operations are NITIE,Mumbai and SJMSOM, IIT Mumbai.

NITIE intake is through CAT and SJMSOM intake is through JMET . The constraint for both these colleges is that they permit only engineers to apply as per eligibility criteria till 2010-2012 session.

Have 11 years of overall experience in IT industry and now would like to pursue my long cherished dream, An MBA...

Have lots of questions in my mind as I start preparing for my GMAT....

I am open to studying MBA either in India or Abroad....But I am more worried about the schools and their critireon....One of my friends had got 720 in GMAT but was still rejected by ISB....

How does the admission process go and what are my stakes in ISB or any other B Schools
