hey hi guys this is neha.im new to PG
im a law student currently studying in the 5th year and planning 2 pursue an mba in international business.will this be useful with my law background?
can u suggest any other specialisations wich mite be useful with law?really confused!!!!!need help!

Hi,

I am Anustup Paul. More than 4 years into IT/ITES Services and product development. Associated with companies like Wipro, Nokia Siemens Networks and Tata Consultancy Services (present).

Enough carrer stats... 😃 I have done my BTech from West Bengal University of Technology in a college present in the heart of IT Hub in WB. The college name is Techno India. Before that I did my 10+2 and 10th from St.Xavier's College Calcutta and Ramakrisha Mission Boys Home High School Rahara (located in WB)

My hobby is to listen to music, sing a bit (more of a bathroom singer ) and also watch movies.

I would be looking towards this forum for the future path I have planned for. I want to pursue executive MBA after giving GMAT You know today's girls look for a guy with MBA Just kidding... I would like to know more about GMAT and how to go about it.

I want to dream big and make it....

I want to pursue my carrer in any one of the top IIM schools. Just started to prepare for CAT. Due to my work pressure, am not in a position to attend coaching centre. Guys, I need your help. Am new to it. Give me an idea about CAT and the quantitative topics which I should cover.

is the hype over work experience real... i mean does it really matter ?? i hv 77 % in 10th, 90% in 12th.. awaiting grad results.. no work experience...how do i account for the loss of the 10 -12 months.. as in from april 2010 (finished grads) till the time i get into a school ???
just too messed up ...

If you think you can crack the exams you are targeting,it hardly matters.You should be able to justify the reason that made you take a drop.There is a healthy distribution of seats between work ex and fresher clan.You can check the sites of different B schools.
One of my friends scored 99.64,got calls from IIM C and IIM Rohtak and finally converted the last one.He took one drop after 12th and the other one after his Btech.
My other friend got a backlog during his engineering,took a drop after graduation and now he is in XLRI.

workex advantage is ofcourse dere, but... "Anything which can be justified is not a sin"
U have pretty good acads, and if u score good in CAt, getting in2 a good b-school wont be a prob
if work-ex helps, good acads soothe the road 2 MBA as well

Giving an idea about CAT is a herculian task
And regarding quant topics... as per d trend, u cant afford 2 skip any topic. However some topics of higher maths appear less regularly in CAT
