Hi friends,
I am Saurav. I am working as a Systems Engineer in Infosys for the past 1.4 years. I had attempted CAT 09. I want to devote 2010 in CAT 10 preparation. My area of weakness in QA. I would be glad if you can provide me the links to the useful QA threads to begin my preparation.

hi puys,
i have a unique situation and need ur comments ... i am a phd student in cancer biology and am looking for a career in the biotech or pharma industry (preferably in india)...i have good academic records but no job ex as such ....

will my four plus years in phd research and two yrs in masters (thesis) be regarded as job ex...?

i intend in taking the gmat and try for the pgpx or isb after my phd (may be a year or so of post doc experience).... will my chances of getting into the industry with a phd plus mba make me more marketable or just overqualified....? i ask this question because i never see biotech or pharma companies in the list of campus recruitment organizations in either of my opting institues....does that mean i have to look for my job opportunities myself? i know quite a few people from the medical profession do try @ executive mba programmes .... for them is it the same way? or do the schools for their recruitment....

added jinx is the security factor...most people stop after phd (thats already a great deal of studies!!!) in india i do not see a trend to go back for a business degree after doctoral...so then...do i end up being overqualified for a standard mba job in biotech sector in india

My name is Dhanaji N.. I am pursuing my MBA..
Last year when I was searching for my college pagal guy played a very important role
Now nothing should be one sided so I decided to rejoin this site and add some values.

Well this year I will be helping my all fnd in providing the facts and figures of all the college in both pune and Mumbai..

At the same time I would also like to join all the communities,,,, which talks about, all the happening in the college. Like events, value addition seminars, world economy, market watch and all.

You surely have a unique kind of a situation, But I suggest that you can go in for course from ISB as ISB always prefers to have diverse student profile and it has got a great industry interface which will help you immensely in getting you to the right place on your career path............

Hi everyone.

I am Deepankar Kapoor. Passed out of my ISC school in 2003. Still unsure I then decided to drop a year to prepare for IIT/NITs. In 2004, I gained admission to B.tech (fibres & textile processing) in Mumbai University Institute of Chemical Technology (MUICT/ICT, formerly UDCT, now UCT). However due to pure disinterest in the course/college I dropped out of my engg in 2008 (I passed two years of the course, and two years I had a year drop in college).

Can't post my entire details of the four year stint in Mumbai (however, if you wish to read, please lend a comment at Kidulthood: 1st month@ SIMC )

Then I joined the maiden UG batch of Symbiosis Institute of Media & Communication and I shall graduate in 2011 (it's a 3 year degree course).

I have also been a Freelance Media professional and have been working on projects for about two years now.

I am aiming for Communication Management course. If not it, then I shall be aiming Marketing for top notch B Schools.

Haven't yet started for this year's CAT prep as I am on Training now.
I shall be starting prep for my first ever CAT exam from this June end. Hope I am not late enough.

The problem is i am already 34, married and having a child, how far i am going to be successful - ?. But one thing is sure that i never backed off from my decisions.

I just want to be thru with CAT.

Pls guide me ( if anyone realy cares ) as i am very poor in RC, VA, Quant or what ever it is( I never taken any aptitude and any kind of test except examinations).
