FYI, the posted sentences are from the Exercises of chapter on adjectives of TIME 2010 material (Book V102).

So far i think following seems to be most satisfactory answers:

1) Pooja is my elder sister
2) It is fine today. (or, It is better today.)
3) Paris is a city worth seeing.
4) Both of my friends' sisters are doctors
5) Mike is greater than any student in the class.
@barclays_boss : According to Time material, "other" after "any" in above sentence should be used only for objects, so use of other is appropriate for following sentence but i'm not sure about this one.
6) Shakuntala is better than any other drama in Sanskrit.
7) The latter suggestion is better than the former (one)(is).
8 ) A Little learning is a dangerous thing.
9) Her Birthday is the happiest event this year.
10) Usually the rich people hate the poor people.
or Usually the rich hate the poor.
11) Go and meet the clerk concerned in the university. (Still not sure about this)

hey

for the 7th one 'latter' should be used as it means the second one instead of later ( i confirmed it from the TIME material pg number 53)

in the 10th one if u say ...like if u use concerned clerk the meaning is getting changed so clerk( who is) concerned is the correct answer.

rest all are correct i guess:)
merry christmas:)

I have some doubts in following sentences.

Incorrect sentences:

1) Pooja is my elder sister. ( in blood relation we use elder )
2) It is fine today.
3) Paris is a city worth-seeing.
4) My friends, both of whom are sisters, are doctors.
5) Mike is taller than any other student in the class.
6) Shakuntala is better than any other drama in Sanskrit.
7) The latter suggestion is better than the former.
A Little learning is a dangerous thing.
9) Her Birthday has been the happiest event this year.
10) Usually the rich hate the poor.
11) Go and meet the concerned clerk at the university.

I have some doubts in following sentences.

Incorrect sentences:

1) Pooja is my older sister
2) It is much fine today.
3) Paris is a worth-seeing city.
4) My friends both sisters are doctors.
5) Mike is greater than any student in the class.
6) Shakuntala is better than any drama in Sanskrit.
7) The later suggestion is better than the former.
Little learning is a dangerous thing.
9) Her Birthday is the most happiest even this year.
10) Usually the rich people hate poor.
11) Go and meet the concerned clerk in the university.

I could think of the following answers for above sentences:
1) My sister Pooja is older than I. (Any other more appropriate replacement ?)
2) It is more fine today. (in comparative sense)
3) Paris is worth seeing city. (No hyphen)
4) Both of my friend's sisters are doctors.
5) -- No idea --
6) Shakuntala is better than any other drama in Sanskrit.
7) The later suggestion is better than the former.(Seems Ok)
A Little learning is a dangerous thing.
9) Her Birthday is the happiest even this year.
10) Usually the rich people hate poor people.
11) Go and meet the concerned clerk in the university. (Seems Ok)

Please answer/correct the above sentences

1. Pooja is my elder sister.
2. It is finer today.
3. Paris is a city worth seeing.
4. Both of my friend's sisters are doctors.
5. Mike is better than any student in the class.
6. Shakuntala is better than any other drama in Sanskrit / Shakuntala is the
best drama in Sanskrit.
7. The latter suggestion is better than the former.
8. Little knowledge is a dangerous thing.
9. Her birthday is the happiest/best event this year.
10. Usually the rich hate the poor.
11. Go and meet the clerk concerned in the university.
