Evalueserve Or Inductis.....which Is Better ??? Kindly Comment -
02-09-2005, 08:13 PM
hi all!!!
i am a final year ece student at delhi university. I have a dilemma which i hope u guys can clarify.INDUCTIS and EVALUESERVE have both offered me to work with them and have interviews next week. The point is that since both of them are high paying cos , i will be debarred from the 2nd if i get selected in the 1st one. INDUCTIS interview is on Tuesday and Evalueserve interview is on Thursday.
I have dropped the idea of CAT despite good preps because i want to work for 2-3 years and go to the US for MBA . This has been a very bold step for me. So now the placement i take is very imp .Guys pleeeeeeezzzzzzz suggest what should i do ????
Regards
I am thankful for that period of my life because it hardened me and enabled me to be tough as I now am.And I am even more thankful because I appreciate the fact that I was thus saved from the emptiness of a life of ease and that a mother's darling was taken from tender arms and handed over to adversity as a new mother.

If they have already offered you the job then why the interview.?? I had a job offer from Evalueserve but turned it down eventually. I wouldn't advice EVS BR to an IITian /BITsian/top college students but if your position is different then you may give it a shot. The pay is reasonable and the work interesting atleast for the first 3-4 months. Also u can grow pretty fast but I don't know why u r comparing it with Inductis. I didnt know Inducdtis did custom research?

have cleared both written tests and they are to take 12-15 out out 20-22 ppl so fairly good chances of clearing but the decision has to be mde before the 1 st interview-i.e. inductis. My bent is towards EVS. Could u please suggest IP or BR which one is better at EVS? I want to do MBA 2-3 years later from ISB or US.

The IP interview is tech n its only for engineers..also IP is more exclusive in that they have only IIT/BITS and DCE ..BR is more of the MBA field actually but every tom **** and harry can get into it and its not restricted to engineers. Frankly IPR is not very interesting work but has huge potential in the coming years and BR is more generic in that you have the freedom to shift around to consulting firms and I banks..It really depends on whether u want to stick to somethin tech..Even IPR wouldnt have domain specific projects so u might end up doin mech n chemical IPR..I would say go for BR but then you will have to live with the masses Bcom, BA junta..

Thanks buddy!!!!
But yaar tell me if one sees long term prospects....Evalueserve makes you sign a 1-yr bnd in case of IPR as you have to undergo 22-25 trainings during this period.Dont you feel working for some years in IPR and then doing ur MBA, then again working as an IP Consultant , later one can start his own consultancy in IPR ...as i feel this is really going to explode as more indian companies try and create more IP and there are not many companies which deal with it as of now??
what are your ideas? do you think IP is the future ? As of now my take is taking up BR as a cool bet.

It all depends my man..Starting an IP consultancy sounds cool but u have no idea how boring the work there can get..Unless u r confident of clearin g a tech interview and then prepared to learn some arcane patent laws and draft patents it could get really boring. Of course the good thing being the exclusivity and the accelerated growth..Go for BR and then shift to a better company after a year and a half..should work out pretty well

Hi Don -
04-09-2005, 02:10 PM
Are u from NSIT?
Me too, from MPA. I am also facing the same dilemma.
But let me tell you one thing, If you get into Inductis, nothing better than that as it is having better reputation in market than EVS. I asked IMS people also, they also said the same thing.
And what other job you have?? IMS people said if you want to do MBA then a job in TCS will be a better option than both EVS or INDUCTIS.

hi Vamsi,
Its great that you have been selected for Goldman Sachs. By the way which college and which course are you pursuing.
I got selected in Evalueserve in the IPR domain.
According to me Business analyst would be the best among these three.
