When do we get to know the interview dates for IIM L. Is it on the spot after completing the form? If yes what range of dates people have got?

God ! I keep on getting these non sense debate notifications. Reserved Vs. Category. We are all intelligent enough to understand that the current reality can't be altered. This debate should be on this thread, do it on Why IIM reservation thread or something !

Guys I'm 24 years old General candidate with a CAT score of 89.33 percentile. Can you please suggest some good colleges where i can get admission this year. Or should i give CAT another try to get into better colleges next year.

I do not have salary slips, but do have experience letter that I can upload. Would the exp letter suffice as a proof? Or salary slips are needed no matter what?
I have seen so many hatred post on reservation so much so that they forced me to write this.I am a genuine Sc guy and this is my story. I belong to rural India where you can find many vote bank politicians but so called "ache din" is still unavailable. I didn't get privilege to study in a English medium school because of its unavailability and lack of fund. I slogged in state board school where scoring is so tough that toppers hardly manage 85% to 90%.coaching and tuitions are day dreams there. Still I manage to score 75.**% which is a good score seeing my board's toughness. Again for 11th and 12th I had to go to a college which is 20km away from my home on daily basis on bicycle(typical Indian village condition). Moreover I had to help my family in a small shop everyo now and then because it is our source for bread and butter. Again here private coaching etc is a fool's dream. Despite these I managed a score of 62.5 % in my state board where scoring is so much tough that toppers only managed to score 73 to 75 %.For my graduation again I joined Bsc because I didn't get any chance to go to a big branded college like Iit or Nit etc(lack of private coaching or you can say lack of quality teachers in rural India).I still managed an average of 74.**% which is well above than many intelligent general students in grad despite of lack of the study time.I was empoyed partially in these days because I had to manage my own expenses and I know I can't produce any work experience certificate for boasting my resume. Now I am a final year Bsc Zoology Hons. student.My well educated general mates were preparing for CAT so I also decided to do it. But I couldn't get any chance to join a coaching and I barely managed to get some old books and gave 3 mocks. Due to lack of time and proper guidance I couldn't able to prepare well and only prepared for Cat in last 10 days and managed a score of 92.**% while my well talented general mates hovered around 85 to 89%.I have been rejected from holy trinity and I for my poor academics and I know I will get rejection in Pi round from L and K too as I don't speak English well(problem of many state board students) despite of managing a good 96..% in verbal.Here I am not victimizing myself I just showed some ground reality and there are so many students like me out here reading your hatred comments towards us. Is it my fault to born in a Sc family? Or is it Government's fault for doing vote bank politics? Or is it our fault not to eradicate caste system from grassroot level?
Guys i have scored 89.47 in CAT. (3rd attempt). I currently have 2.4yrs of work ex, with 6 LPA. Please can someone suggest me which colleges i can get. Besides that i have got an admit from GLIM PGPM chennai. Is it worth, for me to join.

Should the proposed 10% reservation for EWS of General category be within the 50% limit imposed by Supreme Court? Or should it be taken out of the 50% available for General category? Please vote your option. Thanks :)
- General should contribute 5%, other 5% reduced from other quotas
- Supreme Court will rule against this and nullify the EWS quota
- Reduce from existing reservations proportionately, keep General at 50%
- Take 10% out of General
