 Greetings from TAPMI!

The Bikers, Runners and Trekkers Club (B.R.A.T.S) comprises of a group of enthusiastic students who organize bike trips, runs and treks. This weekend they organised a trek to Kavaledurga fort which is 80 kms from the campus. The distance was covered on bikes. The journey started at 6 a.m in the morning in two groups, each having 15 bikes. It was a breathtaking experience for both the riders and pillion. After reaching the location around, they began the trek, which was for a distance of 3 kms, through the forest and the fort, right to the hill top. Like someone once said, “the best view comes after the hardest climb”, this journey proved exactly that.

 Greetings From TAPMI!

The Literary and Media Committee of TAPMI (LiMe) organised “ABHIVYAKTI- A Gateway to Unbounded Expression”. It is an open-mic event where students are given a platform to express themselves in any form of literary art. It was born out of the need to provide a safe space for students to freely  express themselves, liberating them of inhibitions and judgements.

The main attraction of the event is the “Circle of Trust”, an illuminated realm, where students are encouraged to allow their thoughts to flow through their words and actions. Participants showcased their creativity through beautiful paintings, soulful poetry and strong recitals that touched the hearts of the audience.

Greetings From TAPMI!

PGP-1 vs PGP-2, a true TAPMI Tradition, where the seniors and juniors settle the age old rivalry on the field. The one of the most exciting evenings at TAPMI, consisted of 4 matches Throwball (Girls) and Volleyball (Boys), and Basketball (Girls and Boys)

The nail biting drama that unfolded, led to a complete whitewash of PGP-1 in the first two games.  When the luck seemed to shine on the juniors, and adrenaline running high, PGP-2 seemed to outshine their juniors, with a clear victory!

With PGP-2 crowned as winners, the most awaited match of PGP-1 VS PGP-2 came to a close!

The cohort were presented with a banquet of local delicacies which were thoroughly savored by one and all.

Greetings from TAPMI!

The Bloomberg Championship programme is an off-site internship programme provided by Bloomberg to the three select students from top B schools of the country. It is an exclusive programme, which involves integrating the finance curriculum with Bloomberg and assisting various research activities.

The Champions are responsible, for inducting and conducting training sessions for the students of TAPMI.

These champions are chosen through a rigorous process of selection; consisting of multiple stages. The selection panel consists of current champions, and a senior faculty from the Finance domain. The Champions represent TAPMI, in the annual Bloomberg Olympiad.

Hear it from the Champions, themselves!

“The Experience has been enriching, rewarding and a blessing that I would always cherish. It gave me the opportunity to take my learnings beyond academia through collaboration with the other Bloomberg Champions of TAPMI who are remarkably talented individuals. Finally, it gave me a chance to bring a sense of pride to TAPMI by winning the Olympiad which I will always be grateful for.”Chris D’Souza

"As Bloomberg Champions, we get trained and we impart this knowledge to the batch of 900 students. We collaborate with the faculty and the finance cohorts to integrate the courses with Bloomberg. We also represent TAPMI in the Bloomberg Olympiad,  a competition held to test the Bloomberg knowledge amongst the Champions of the Top B-Schools. I am immensely happy to say that TAPMI bagged the 1st place in the Bloomberg Olympiad 2019."- Payal Jhawar

“The Bloomberg Championship programme essentially provides an invaluable platform for students to learn skills that would be highly valuable in the industry, and I personally am grateful for this experience”-  Kenneth Rohan Kotian
