There is no column to fill work experience in IIM Kozhikode form...is anyone else facing the same issue ?

 in iim-a scholarship form there is a column for movable properties , do i include the provident fund of my family members in it ? does it require details of all the assets in my name or anyone in the family ?

In the IIM L form in the undergrad grades sheet. There are three columns for max marks, marks obtained, percentage of marks. Let me know if this is the correct way of filling the form. My cgpa (out of 10), 10 (for max marks) and the percentage convesrsion of my gp. So the total at the end is automatically calculated to 80 (8 semesters *10). I dont think i can override this. Â How are you guys filling this?

I have read more than enough posts criticising reservations or the fact that CAT is biased towards engineers.. etc. I do not understand what one would gain cribbing about it on a platform which hardly 0.1% of the population use. You are just wasting your time and energy doing it, neither are you gaining anything from it nor is it adding value to anyone or anything in any manner. I just can't imagine how their minds work, instead of wasting time writing a post which hardly matters, one could've easily invested that energy into something productive.
PS- I just had to say it, I'll be happy if even a single person realises what a waste of energy it is to rant here.
Any groups for IIM A call getters?
There are total 232 credits in graduation out of which I'm allowed to drop 12, resulting in total 220 credits and my aggregate marks in degree are calculated on basis of 220 credits and same I've filled in cat form. While filling IIML form, should I enter all 232 credits or 220?

Do we need to submit any documents regarding parental income during interviews? I mean most of the colleges mandatorily ask the amount. Do we have to submit any paperwork regarding that? For a student with retired parent, Â what document will suffice?

From the posts here on pagalguy, reserved category people on this group should themselves judge the reason of such hate for reservation from general category people. And while many of the general category people might not admit it, this hate for reservation also ignites a bit of hatred towards those availing it, because admit it, humans are not ideal.Â
I agree that even today many of the people still get discriminated based on caste in rural areas, but admit it, you well-to-do people availing reservations don't give a fcuk to them or their suffering but use it as a means of justification.Â
Because, as you point out that most of the general population is financially stronger and has greater opportunities, similar case applies to you wherein you are well-to-do among the people of your category and are using benefits, which had been designed to specifically target those who are from weak backgrounds from your categories.
I've studied in one of the top engineering institute and in my entire batch of 80, among those who availed reservation (which is apparently almost half the batch strength), barring one-two people, none others were from a financially weak background.Â
This reservation definitely cannot be removed since it hasn't served its purpose. Why I say this is because this is the only tool which people who are discriminated at very ground level can use for their upliftment. As for most of the discrimination which happens in urban areas, it is mostly due to resentment for undeserving people and not due to any specific caste.
This benefit should only be given on a caste-financial background combination. This is the only way which can reduce the disparity between the general and reserved categories and reduce to some extent hate for someone who is priviledged and at the same time, undeserving. Atleast in this case, the person will be just undeserving.
As for general category people supporting this financial background- based reservation, you are either hypocrites or fools. In this country, where most of the people can easily forge their income certificates, either you plan to do that or you are just happy to be on the bright side. This hasn't reduced the reservation, just added an extra layer of reservation on top of caste based reservation. Those pointing reserved people about not deserving and availing reservation, remember someone is more deserving than you also who might have missed out due to your ignorance.
Guys, as we are talking about reservations? Does anybody has any idea regarding the 10% reservation bill passed by the parliament yesterday. Is that reservation going to be an additional reservation over the cap of 50% set by SC ruling of 1992 making it 60% OR will it get accommodated within 50%?
Those who gave CAT while working, How difficult is it to prepare while working? Do you find enough time to give sufficient 3hr mocks? I graduated in June 18. I'm considering working and giving CAT 19. Cat 18- 98.55, 9.8/96/79, G-NE-M. No calls yet. Also will the new 10% shiz make it more difficult to get a call next year? Would appreciate any opinion.

Can anyone experienced enough can help me to know various ranges of percentiles (or CPIs) at which General female engineering candidates with decent acads and 0 work experience has got a call from: SJMSOM Iit Delhi Iit kgp In the past few years. Because people say cutoff for SOM is 98+ and all and then I see some GEMs getting calls at 96.xx which confuses me.
