According to me tips year's paper was easier than the last year on the whole. But still it was the worst exam of the season for me.

Total 48 attempts
CAT 2008 - 99.68%ile Quant - 95.10, di - 96.42, va -99.49. Calls from L,I,K. missed C by 1 mark in Quant. IIM B only god knows  Missed IIM A due to 
GMAT 2008 - QA - 49 , VA - 40 Overall 720

Same here..found QA/DI tough.... :sad:
hav attempted only 10 to 12 questions more in a panicky way...
VA and LR were of moderate difficulty level..
Essay was a good one too..but I have exceeded the page limit..I dint look at the END OF ESSAY below the page b4 i cam to it  ...is der some penalty over dis, exceeding the page limit??

Don't worry. No penalty. Infact, in our centre it was announced that you can write behind if the space is not enough. don't worry. the announcement was made on the loudspeaker at the parle tilak english centre in mumbai.

So this was the toughest exam of the season.
I found LR doable with last 3 sets easily worked out.
Rest VA and DI/QA are tough.
Cutoff will definitely be lower as compared to XAT 2008.

Total -45
Tough paper on first glance.....some sitters identified were the Soda Ash set on DI, the break even caselet, Couples caselet in LR.
Someone please confirm that in the teacher-subject caselet, in the question "The class on wednesday started at" had two same options, which was the right one, acc to me, ie, 7:20 AM and the topic was calculus.
Waiting eagerly fo rthe keys!!!
