BIMTECH PGDM / PGDM (International Business) / PGDM (Insurance Business Management) / PGDM (Retail Management)
Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH), Greater Noida, is a business school established in 1988. The institute offers two-year, full-time PGDM programmes across areas such as management, international business, insurance and retail management. The programmes are designed to combine classroom learning with industry exposure, internships and experiential learning.
1. Brief Introduction about the Courses
BIMTECH offers four major PGDM programmes:
- PGDM
- PGDM (International Business)
- PGDM (Insurance Business Management)
- PGDM (Retail Management)
The programmes cover core management subjects along with specialised areas depending on the chosen programme. BIMTECH also includes experiential learning, internships, live projects and industry interaction as part of its academic approach.
2. Eligibility
For PGDM / PGDM (International Business) / PGDM (Insurance Business Management) / PGDM (Retail Management)
- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognised university/institution.
- Candidates appearing in the final year of graduation in their first attempt in Summer 2027 can also apply.
- Final-year candidates must obtain at least 50% marks in graduation and submit the final result by October 31, 2027 , as specified by BIMTECH.
3. Selection Process
The BIMTECH 2027–29 admission process includes the following stages:
- Candidates must fill out the online application form on the official BIMTECH website.
- A non-refundable application fee of ₹2,250 is applicable.
- Candidates are shortlisted based on their applicable entrance exam scores and past academic performance.
- Shortlisted candidates are called for the selection process, which consists of an Extempore and Personal Interview (PI) .
- Final selection considers the applicable entrance exam score, performance in the selection process, past academic performance and work experience, if any.

5. Fees
For the 2027–29 batch, BIMTECH lists the tuition fee at ₹14 lakh for the full two-year course for the merit category across the four PGDM programmes. Security deposit, hostel and mess charges are additional.
6. Placements
According to BIMTECH’s latest available final placement report for the 2023–25 batch :
- PGDM: Highest domestic CTC – ₹22 LPA; Average CTC – ₹10.90 LPA
- PGDM (IB): Highest domestic CTC – ₹16.42 LPA; Average CTC – ₹10.61 LPA
- PGDM (IBM): Highest domestic CTC – ₹14.50 LPA; Average CTC – ₹10.59 LPA
- PGDM (RM): Highest domestic CTC – ₹16.42 LPA; Average CTC – ₹10.13 LPA
The report recorded an overall placement rate of 98.04% for the 2023–25 batch. BIMTECH’s website also currently lists a highest international package of ₹24.43 LPA and highest domestic package of ₹22 LPA .
7. Scholarships Offered by BIMTECH
BIMTECH offers the Late Basant Kumar Birla Admission Merit Scholarship to eligible admitted candidates from the merit category based on CAT/XAT percentile:
