Selection procedure :
The various steps in selection for admission at BIMTECH include:
Step (I)
Procurement of Form:

Application form (common for all the programmes) can be acquired from September 15, 2009 onwards from-a) Admission office of the Institute by paying Rs. 1700/- in cash.
b) Office of the Institute by post by sending a Demand Draft of Rs. 1750/- in favour of “Birla Institute of Management Technology” payable at Greater Noida/ Noida/ New Delhi.
c) From website by downloading (Demand Draft of Rs. 1750/- is to be enclosed with downloaded form in favour of the institute).
d) PT Education
e) From various centres of IMS, Career Launcher, T.I.M.E, Bulls Eye, Career Forum, Cerebral Heights, across India
f) From various branches of Axis Bank on payment of Rs. 1700/- (List fo Selected Axis Bank Centres )
g) Applying online on website of the Institute: www.bimtech.ac.in/apply.asp followed by paying Rs. 1750/- through payment gateway.
Last date for submission of form for all programmes: December 10, 2009

what is the cut off?
and did bimtech last year call 7ooo people for gdpi to select a mere 120 people

i think last year cut off was 70 percentile for each programme and according to bimtech website they give call in the ratio of 1:10 , so i think it must have been at least 1200 and at max 1500 for its flagship programme.

i want to know how much weighted BIMTECH give ppl who hav WE in der family business. i have 25 months experince in my business with my elder brother .should i mention dis experience in application form ?????
also is my experience is equivalent to 25 months xprince of IT or any other field xprince ??

after dat
25 months xprince in my own business
now b.tech-65%(till 6th sem)...
after dis profile should i apply 4 BIMTECH????...senior plzzz...

i think it would be better if u write an e-mail to bimtech regarding the work-ex issue.

Hw is the recruitments @ BIMTECH? Who all are major participants? esp for Operations brand?. what was the actual cut-offs for selected pple last year?

although i am not a senior at bimtech , i am like all of u an mba aspirant but the cut off of bimtech last year was 70 percentile.

i think there is no senior from bimtech who could handle our queries as this thread is dead since inception.

Has someone filled the form by buying from IMS center....I have bought the form, but in the Date of birth field, it is not having circle for Zero...like my birthdate is 8, so I need to fill 08 in the box, but to darken the circle, there is no circle for 0, only 1,2,3 are present....any solution???

well even i have the same problem and also in the column where we need to fill cat registration number , it has only 7 columns rather than 9 , i will mail them within a day , if u guys have gotten some kind of information regarding above 2 issues , please tell us .......
