    Hi Sir,

I am an MA Eco post graduate. i took CAT this yr and I have few IIM Calls. How do I justify a move from MA Eco to MBA in the interviews. How can my economics degree help me esp in finance?

    Hi There.
This is Aashish, age 21, just completed my graduation this year.
Currently in CA-Final, also a CISA.
I want to pursue MBA from an Internation School in the USA or the UK; immediately after passing CA.
I have no full time work-ex [however im currently pursuing 3.5 years of work training as required in the CA course].
Can you help me with the requirements in context of a safe GMAT score.
Plus people are telling me that work-ex is a must to get into International B-Schools, is it true?
If yes, are there any good schools [among the top 50, atlest] which entertain freshers like me?
I am interested in either MBA in SM, Finance or HR.
    My Academics:
    Xth - 85% [2006]
    XIIth - 78% [2008]
    B.Com - 75% [2011]
    CISA - 73% [2011].

    RSVP.

    TIA.
    A.D.T.

    Hey!

For a change, don't have a question today. Just dropped by to say thanks for your inputs over the past two years. As I write my SOP, I realize how invaluable acting on your advice has been.

    Hi,
I have a total work experience of more than 13 yrs in IT industry and most it has been on software product development. My first 6 yrs has been spent working for a Dutch ERP giant and the later part with a British Automation giant. I have also won employee excellence award 3 times in the last 6 years. I have been in a managerial role for the last 5 years.

My current age is 37 and i would like to do a one year MBA either from Europe or North America. Am also considering some of the PG exec programs offered by IIM in India. I have started preparing for my GMAT and would take up the exam by this year end.

    My academics:-
    B.Sc (Physics) - 74 %
    GNIIT - 88%

    Extra curricular activities :-
    1. Associated with Street Kids forum
    2. Photography (Wild life)
    3. Shuttle and Ping pong.

I would like to know what my chances are realistically to join a reasonably good school and how much of my experience will be counted.

    Thanks,
    Govind

    hello sir,

wanted to ask you about the carrer prospect in doing MIS from US..actually was interested in doing MBA by giving GMAT but the expense is too high and i dont want to burden my parents about that..

am currently employed in TCS for a year and was thinking about doing MIS/MS(HR) then work for 2-3 years and then save a bit so that i can contribute a significant amount in doing my MBA and by that time i vl have a work-ex of arnd 4 years which is a minimum requirement for the top 20 b-schools..
my main targets for MBA colls in US are kellog,CMU,duke,Fuqua,USC...
Please advice...am a bit confused here...
