hi andy_jaan
application process starts by july and generally it's in two rounds for the indian passport holders and rolling process for foreign passport holders.
application consists of 3 essays with 300 word limit. and 2 more essays if u r applying for scholarship. based on gmat, work ex, application essays and extracurriculars/ achievements ur application will be evaluated holistically (that what ISB calls it ). need to be shortlisted for the interview. ISB iv is generally acknowledged as very friendly.
so thats it. more details u can get from ISB website itself.
www.isb.edu
regards.

Count me in Guys! I got the ding today, so no better day to start with the preps for the next time than today!
I am still thinking what will be the best plan to come up with a stronger profile next year. I am hoping a better GMAT, additional work-ex, EC's and better essays should make the cut.
ATB to all....
Thanks.

I will be a re-applicant to ISB this year. Appeared in telephonic interview in R1 but was "not selected". Not yet decided if I'll apply again, but none-the-less will support all through.
My Profile at the time of applicaion will be(Sept: 2009)
27/male/IT - 4 years (2 years onsite)
GMAT:750 (Q51,V39,4.0)
Not so great acads but decent extra-curricular activities.
Best of luck to all applicants.

good initiative. as thrust said there is no better time to prepare for the next application season. let us share here... what they think went wrong. there no better criticism than one self.
i had low gmat. also comparatively low grades in acads. though i got reasons and explained, i may have failed to convince them. i would have done the same thing if i were in place of adcom...considering programme's rigour.
GMAt again.
Waiting for JULY

If I might make a suggestion, please start a new thread for essay-related feedback. There have been many posts on this on the 2009 thread, but I feel it requires a dedicated thread. This thread may not suffice since the essay topics next year might change.
