as far as the comparisons going on at the forum
All I can say is that out of the other 2 instis (symbi n nm) ximb wins hands downnyday!
The reasons have been already discussed by a lot of other ppl so wont repeat/one thing which I would like to add is EXCELLENT alumni network
I havent seen nybody taking nm over ximb.frankly!
All those who have decided to joina very warm welcome to them!

Can the XIMB seniors please help me out with the following queries.
1 Some ppl have mentioned its difficult to get summer placements in XIMB. Can you please tell us how true is this??
2 Whts the av pay pack after passing out. Lots of insti fudge the data so I will be really thankful if some seniors can give me the exact detail.

guys,i am still undecided on whether to join or write cat again.the views are equally divided for both the options.some people say write again,others advise to take up what is on hand.
some suggestions required guys.
As far as between nm and ximb,i feel ximb is a better choice.Even the people at TIME have the same views.

just received my ximb letter.
wanted to confirm with the seniors.. what is meant by 'informal though not casual' clothing? would that mean salwar kameez etc for a girl? (like sibm) or can you wear jeans and stuff so long as its all 'decent'

dont worry i went thru the same dilemma wen i received my letter last yr, informal but casual means u wear salwar suits, jeans, trousers.. anything as long as it is decent . Basically it means u cant wear capris, or pajamas to class, .. so relax :)

first installment of rs 40000 to be paid by 25th april
second instalment of rs 63100 to be paid by june 6th
if u withdraw admission before june 6th they will refund you 32000 (they will cut 8000)
if u dont inform them but cancel (i.e. not pay 2nd instalment by 6th june) they return 15000 (cut 25000)
thats all
other info all about wut to carry along etc etc
