Hello Friends,

One more Point i marked.Don't You think the Average figures of XIMB are a bit on lower side.
When other inst. r claiming of 5- 5.5 lakhs. ,4.5 is tooooooooooooooooooooooooo lowwwwwww.

I think ur talking aboyut 2004.
Check out XUBERANCE 2005 thread on PG. Pacements of 2005 have been really good and average is above 5.

Hi spankay,existinchaos...& other waitlisted ppl,

The seniors at XIMB are busy with their summers so wont be replying.
However you can check out last years XIMB results thread.
Even last year 180 calls were made and wailist finally cleared upto smwhere betn 30-40.
The waitlist clearance depends on the number of ppl opting for the course so it may go up/down.
Anyways WL11-12 should clear for sure.
Also there is no seperate WL for domicile ppl. This is the final WL.

going by what has been posted earlier and from info from admis off- I dont think there should be any problem till 20/25. It becomes tough after that and pls guys pray lady luck smiles on me

Actually One of my Friend also told the same that this Year's Avearge Salary was about 5.5 but i cudn't find any link etc which confirms this Data(BTW i do believe him ) .Also this years Highest Palcement(salarywise) was in HSBC .Approx 12 Lakhs. It was i Heard in Martkt.

which institute would be more fruitful for a marketing aspirant ximb or imt-g very less time i have. heard marketing placement not impresive at ximb senior through light

well there r so many ongoing discussions regardin the fight b/w instt.....however in this case i wud vote for imt-g.....its had wonderful placements in mkting las yr...kno it personally as well.hope this is of sme help!!!

Just cheked the final list..180 calls have been issued for 120 seats...
So we have to add 60 to the given WL number....so wait for 71 more such posts....
If this is not the case...Can ne 1 tell the details..as per last yrs....

I was wondering how come XIMB issued 180 calls for 120 seats. what if they don't get 60+ rejections. In that case, whos gonna suffer?

the results really shocked me...had 98%tile in xat ,first division througout career...,excellent interview..but i think gd was bad,orissa domicile...
but not selected
one thing became sure...xat results dont counts..we have students having 77%tile and getting selected..its horrible....
