Guys anyone know anout RADIAN IAS ACADEMY in Chennai ? How is its coaching compared with SAIDAI DURAISAMY MANIDHANEYEM coaching for both UPSC and TNPSC ...? any ideas
@csl80 71 seems a tad high tbh but the questions aren't very tough so is attainable. But My question is can a graduate with no 'recommended' edu. qualifications for apfc get through with just the minimal passing score in written test?
71 was a bit possible because there was no negative marking...in 2004 paper...this year there is negative marking!!!
47 eng n aptitude 10 from gen science which made almost gettable score...14 questions more was very easy to cross the cutoff and qualify keeping no negative marking in view...

@vishu0102 Still i think if u see the english and aptitude questions not all were easy..1/3rd of them were dicy and the same with questions from other sections...the 2004 looks easy when u solve it but many a questions are very tricky..71 seems quite high..
seems quite high but rti says it was the cutoff and there might be candidates who have crossed it...
INSAT, GSAT, RISAT are satellites but CSAT is NOT a satellite. Newcomers are getting confused.... #UPSC :D

I also have the same doubt and i am planning to go with Public Administration and sociology.
For Prelims , I am OK with the CSAT but quite uncomfortable with the paper 1 i.e. General Studies.
Can you please suggest the same to me???

@StadiumArcadium : then ill suggest read few ncerts of various subjects, study carefully the syllabus and previous years papers. ull have a fair idea of reality then
plzzzz help anyone...I am goint to Delhi from October and have not decided on coachings to join...most of the guys who hav cleared prelims dis year say not to go for General Studies classes as the teach useless thngs...what to do?? plzzzzz reply sum1...
@moghliboy : buddy that is really very subjective question. people might be right for advising not to join the coaching(m in the same league) but still if you think you can not do it yourself, then ill suggest you should join it. but again ill say self study with virtual exploitation of internet is the best route for success. you can do it easily
