is any doctor there?sir ,recently i have got n adm in MD pharmacology and started upsc prep. as per target.but somehow it is being difficult to balance both after 8.30am to 6 pm duty.advices are most invited.pls.

WOW getting into MD is quite a feat. Manage your time buddy, it is one of the most hectic profession in a country like India. Take medical sciences as one of your optional if you are comfortable in it, can be very scoring. But its syllabus is also vast. For second optional take something like Pub Ad. or geography etc which can save you some effort in GS as well.

cleared prelims in first attempt.. i have decided to take political science and philosophy as optionals. I have done engineering in computer science. And currently working in bank as assistant manager.


I have one doubt regarding filling of DAF online. In employment information:

and i am still employed so what should i write in "To" period? should i write "Present" or what?

I mean i read Pearson CSAT Manual 2012 in a library and thought of buying it , buy when i saw the reviews in a shopping site the users didnt not recommend to buy the book ...



I am confused between the Spectrum General Studies Manual or Pearson Manual or any Tata McGraw Hill ...which is best ? or any other good books , plz recommend ...

For paper 1- For History, Geography, Indian Economy.. u have to go through different books.. As GS is very vast.. and go For India Year book as well..

GS MANUAL BY TMH is the best among others..+ NCERT(history,geog,polity,economy...etc)
