or you can purchase it as well from a book store that deals with upsc cse material.
For india polity, i referred both dd basu and laxmikanth but for gs mains, i feel laxmikanth is good enough. But do read dd basu once and have a feel if you would be interested in laxmikanth or dd basu.

It is a good book. Other books of interest may be DD Basu and Laxmikanth.

Nigavekar committee was supposed to submit its report in June but they have not done it.After the committee submits its report, UPSC will study it and then formulate a proposal that will be sent to PMO for approval.So a long wait, i guess!

Posting here after a long time 😃 well well i Just Got My RTI Reply From UPSC Reagrding The Cut Offs of The APFC Exam 2004. The Reply I got From UPSC is as Follows :
1) Sectional Cut Off : There was no sectional cut off in each part of the General Abilty Test i.e. Part A- English & Part B - General Studies
2) Category wise Cut Off: Category wise minimum level of suitability of marks for the written test were as follows
UR - 71 OBC - 66 SC - 63 ST - 62 PH (OH) - 59
Please Note That The Maximum Marks Was 100
