Hello everybody !! Today I mailed my team lead that I am leaving the project citing some reasons and left office.My team lead was not present in the office at that time.At the time of interview for the project I had told them that I was interested in automation testing ,but recently I came to know that manual testing was only involved in my project.I had been working in this team for the last one month but was not allocated or tagged to a project.Later in the evening I got a mail from my manager to meet him tommorrow. I have decided not to meet him and rather I'll be meeting my RMG and will be asking for some other projects. I am a fresher and have just completed my ILP.What is worst which can happen ?
PS: I am a serious CAT aspirant and have no problem sitting in bench.
Hi.........I am SE in TCS having 2.5 years of work ex......I am selected for XIME Bangalore.......................My current package is 4.3 L.........I wanted to clarify below points :-
1)Do TCS considers XIME Bangalore in Tier 2 college?
2)What pay package I can expect if at all I join back TCS after completing my MBA?
3)What roles I might offered, If I specialize in HR.
I am planning to attend interview with TCS , I have a gap in between my jobs about 7 months and with the current company I am having 2 years and 4 months experience and previous company I have 9 monhts , I need to know hoow much expericne will TCS take will they take the total of 2years and 4 months +9 monhts or will they waive some . and also know what desicgantion i will get. Please help me with this very urgent.
One of my friends joined TCS as a lateral employee with prior experience. Since I am not aware of the policies followed for lateral hire, hence thought of asking it in this forum.
He was recruited as a Oracle resource, before getting into project also he communicated that he will work in Oracle only. But after getting into the project, he is forced to work in Mainframes. He has already raised concern several times to his reporting manager but every time his manager is asking him to give it a try and learn it. He is in the project for 3 months. As we know, in this kind of scenarios, our great TCS rocks...he will be given "D" band next year H2 along with the release 😁
Since there is a lot of time for the next year H2 to come hence I think there should be some way to get out of it. Should raising an "Employee Concern" will work for a lateral hire? Please suggest how a lateral hire should face this situation and come out of the project.
Hi Friends..I am in a bit of confusion regarding my career.Would like to hear your opinion/suggestions.
I joined TCS on September 2012 after my B.Tech and been here for 1.5years.I got a C band in my only perfrmc band till now.Joined with a salary of 3.16LPA and currently its around 3.6LPA.Previously I was in a Manual Testing project in Chennai which required NO technical knowledge whatsoever.I got transfer to my hometown,Kochi.Glad that I did not get a D Band even in the midst of transfer.Currently I am unallocated in Kochi.I am attending the competitive exams for Banks and other Govt jobs like LIC,SSC CGL etc.My questions are;
1.I am interested in taking up an Automation Testing project in Kochi.How much growth/scope does it have and how much ONSITE opportunity does automation testing have?
2.Bank or IT?which one got better career prospects provided I am not that interested in hardcore coding
3.If I crack the IBPS PO exam this year(PO4)and join a bank,I will be joining the Bankaround May next year,what would be my salary in TCS by that time?
4.I will become Systems Engineer by coming Spetember.How much hike I will get then?Presently my CTC in 3.6LPA as I mentioned.

Can anyone please help.. I want to pursue MBA.. I am planning to take LWP option.. How to many months prior to leaving TCS should I inform this to my office team. (1 or 2 months).. I meant to say how much duration will the entire process of LWP takes? Would i able to join coll in June 2nd week without any problem if i ask for LWP in May 1st week.
PS: I am yet to announce my plan to my tem as I am currently weighing down my options.. Pls help..
Currently i'm working in TCS and i have 32 months of Work Ex. My designation is SE and my package is 4.52 now. Converted BIM,Trichy..I just want to know whether BIM comes under Tier II or I college. I'm planning for Sabbatical and hence what package will i get if join back and what role will be offered? Please throw some light..

I have resigned from tcs today and they provided me a letter which mentioned that I have been released from the services of tcs, but they did not provide any other document and said they will give me other documents through mail on my personal ID after 45 days. So is it enough or I should get any thing else.from tcs. Plz reply.
I have an offer at Oracle financial services for the job of flexcube support and the post given is associate technical analyst.I have 2.3 years of experience in TCS.What's the future and demand of flexcube professional ??Should I accept this role and post??How is the hike and work culture there?Please provide your insights as I need the help asap.
I have been in TCS for the past 22months but still I am a trainee as I spent most of the time on bench.I have converted XIMB and planning to leave by this june.Will there be a problem if the recruiter in XIMB observes that I have been trainee for 2 years. Or is there anyway to get confirmation(Removal of trainee tag) from HR now?? Please help.

Whats the policy for 2 years LWP education leave at TCS...Also I would most be doing my MBA in HR...
