@ankitrocks I mean can I complete my resignation process in 1-2 days. What I'm thinking I would join the MBA programin Mumbai on 15th June. After completing 2 yrs on 1st July I would go to the HR in Kolkata,my current base-branch and would complete the resignation process in 1-2 days and would go back to to Mumbai again. So I would give notice period on 1st June.
Can I do this?

I think 2 days are fine. Contact your HR for being sure about it.

I have converted Great Lakes Gurgaon, however am waiting for results of other colleges. Incase I apply for LWP for Great Lakes Gurgaon and that gets approved and after that I get a convert from another college , say XIMB(results will be declared by 2 nd week of April), will it be possible to cancel the earlier taken LWP and apply for LWP for XIMB? In a fix, please help!!
@baseerahamedmec For EIS they will give specialised training in ILP .The domain u ll get to know on 1st/2nd day of ur ILP.You can brush up ur engg subjects and u cn learn programming (C++,Java,C#) if u r interested.
@Phoenix2687 Oh!! Actaully they want ur admission letter to approve LWP.But u can contact ur HR for this specific case.They will give the exact info.

It is "Initial learning program" from 3 months generally. Here you will undergo classroom training for technology, tools, business skills and much more.

@dvchinmaya : How do you know about what Tier a college belongs to? I asked my HR, he was clueless, said we at TCS do not have any Tier system 😛 I am thinking of consulting other HRs

Thanks for the info.. 😃 . I left at 5.1L/annum and i've pursued MBA in IT Business Management from Symbiosis Centre for Information Technology, Pune. Its under Symbiosis International University (SIU).
@urwithdevesh Its Tier 2 as per TCS grading.U cant get Assistant System Analyst /System Analyst Designation.Package may b around 7 or 7+ probably.Not sure.
@Phoenix2687 yeah!! some of the HRs dont know this even as they r freshers r new to TCS.If u go through the previous posts in this thread from page 1 to 70,u can get the clear idea.I have also got the info from ppl who have taken LWP for education purpose and joined back TCS.U can see many such examples in this thread only but in very old posts.
@Phoenix2687 And also in the internship plocy document availbale in knowmax, they hv clearly mentioned different stipends for Tier 1 and Tier 2 college students for MBA internships.So the system of Tier 1 and Tier 2 exists in TCS for MBA.
