I am in B.Tech final year and have been placed in TCS through on campus placement. But I have two arrears to clear in this sem, the result of which is likely to come out in July; whereas the result of the regular subjects will come much earlier.
Will there be any problem if I am called to join TCS before the result of arrear subjects comes out??

The whole idea of sabbatical is that you will be given a long leave only. So, after completing your education, you have to come and serve the organisation. You can get in touch with HR for more details.

Its not sabbatical in TCS.Its LWP.No Bond.Bond will be ther only if u take financial assistance from TCS.You can easily quit if u dont want to join TCS after PGPM.No question will be asked.

First of all congratulations on being selected to tcs and please don't worry about it. Tcs is very shy in giving out joining letters and given the condition of IT industry and recession your joining letter may come around september or october untill and unless yours is a tier 1 college like iit, nit or iiit.
So enjoy the last sem of your college days.

If tcs has provided him with an offer letter he will get the joining letter that is for sure. Keep in touch with hr people. Now the question is when will he get the joining?

Yup .. I told him. He has already rejected an offer from another similar organisation because of the package issues. Just want to know what are the rules within tcs. Will TCS consider any extension for studies. Coz he has 7 years of experience in the Technology he works for. TCS has offered him 9LPA considering 6 yrs of experience. Now he is in his last week of notice period. Now that there are no openings at this time, he is pissed.
@SuriPaji thanks mate.. what will the problem with joining. It seems he is already co-ordinating with HR's. Just that his DOJ is not yet informed officially. Will it take time. The reason being he rejected offer with a similar organisation because of package issues
@Archer13 Constantly bugging the HR's won't do any help. It doesn't work like that in tcs. When was he given offer letter?
Tcs will fit him with another batch of your college or with some other college batch. So be patient with joining letter. Patience is the best policy in Tcs.

Only through lateral recruitement if u hv 3+ yrs experince that too if there are any requirements for the skill set u hv ..
its a good enough for any service based company . IBM gives 6-7 lac ,Accenture gives 7-7.5 lac , cts gives 6.5 to 7 lac for 4-5 yrs of exp, so you are getting as market standard .in TCS you would have lots of onsite oportunity , but here apprisal policy is not fair , they maintain curve fitting, by which lots of people are forced to get lower performer , which may reslt decrease your salary .Consecutive lower perfomance they may terminate your service .If you are not in project or you have got release from project just before apprisal time , manager will put u lower performer although you have done excellent job . But if u perform well and if you get good rating in ur apprisal you will get good hike every year even you will get promotion soon . TCS have good medical coverage , u can get upto 2 crore for you and family. I am in tcs 6 years 3 yrs i was in onsite , i want to stay this company till retirement . i feel , i am working with a happy family(TCS).best of luck . now its your decission.

hello , i am Currently working in CSC noida . Total work ex is 30 months . I wanted to switch to TCS . I have already updated my resume on TCS career portal . But Still i have not got any calls . I guess expecting calls this way is not fruitful . Can anyone refer me ?
