@tjay I would advise u to not leave tcs,coz even if u land up in project i think u can chalk out alteast 1-2 hours of time daily,and 1-2 hours daily is all that is required to crack CAT (in most of the cases :))

hey!! can anyone answer my query fr sabbatical leave...
I have work ex of 2.5 yrs in tcs... now i have been selected fr great lakes pgpm...I am thinking of taking a sabbatical leave... My college will be starting from apr end...but I need the sabbatical from feb. (will sit and enjoy at home 😁 )
can I avail the sabbatical in feb...? Also what all documents will be required for availing the sabbatical for education purpose... I have the admission letter and will soon have receipt of initial payment of 50,000 to college!

1. How is the work in this project - is it hectic or cool. (24/7 or not) ?
2. Onsite opps availablitiy for all ITIS tracks or not ?
3. Apprasials - is it effective ?

@Archer13 1)Dunno much specifically abt Telefonica.But night shifts will be ther some times as it is ITIS. 2)Onsite opp ll b der but again depends on the senior members present in the project.If its a new project u ll get it easily. 3)As u r experinced appraisal will nt be a problem fr u. @

Can someone help me with the ctc for an ITA in tcs with 3 Yrs of Work Ex? I know it would sound odd because people in TCS get ITA designation only after 4 Yrs of Work Ex.. But what would be the case of an associate if he manages to get consecutive A Band (eligible for Early Promotion) within 3 Years of his work in TCS. Any information is appreciated. Thanks

I've been working in TCS for over 2 years now. I wanted to apply sabbatical for my Post Graduation (Great Lakes) for 1 year. Just wanted to know what effect previous ratings can have on returning back after sabbatical. I understand payscale/profile negotiation will happen when I come back, But is the new package reflected upon previous ratings.
I needed to know this coz m uncertain if my manager will rate me a D band coz I will be released from the project!!
Any help wud be appreciated!

LWP will be approved only when ur Band is C and above in the past two conecutive appraisals as it goes for chain of approvals starting from ur supervisor to GL as mentioned earlier in reply to ur previous query.According to TCS ,GrateLakes is Tier1 college, you will get good pay and designation if you come back to TCS.
