I have joined TCS in September 2010 with a package of 3.16. In september 2011 i got confirmed and got a salary hike of 25k/year. So currently my package is 3.42 after working for 1 yr and 4 months.In this march as a H2 i am expecting some hike again. I want to know that when i will complete 2 yrs in september 2012 , then will i get a salry hike .if yes then how much if i willbe in a B/C band.
Can anybody tell me what will be my salary in april 2013(after march 2013 hike) after getting all hike(suppose i get B or C band)??

Your question is too far fetched man...As far as march hike for this H2 is concerned I dont know if uv read it but CEO has told NDTV that hikes may be muted 😞 I had joined in December 2009 and did get a hike in Decemeber 2011 on completion of 2 years but again all this changes every year so u cant really assume anything...So April 2013 is too far off :D U can PM me for any details.

TCS is the worst company who treats freshers badly i m here in TCS since a year in mumbai now they are telling me to go to chennai and the worst part is HR dont listen simply says Business Requirement . i will advise never join TCS as a fresher else your life will be really screwed . and ya it has no development projects it has only junk projects so for those whoare technically strong dont join here

Dude, if u regret TCS as a fresher, u wud do so more after a MBA deg..
Most of my frnds who were earning 4.5L post 2 yrs of exp in TCS and moved on to do MBA joined back (coz they had no other options) at a salary of 5.5L - 1L hike after investing several lakhs and 2 full years..

And I shud also tell u, it is just not wid TCS but all IT coz..
It is very important u get a good manager and a good project to begin with.. Else, u cud be screwed very badly and become hell a lot demotivated..
P.S: I work for TCS and I'm more than happy with the treatment I get..!!!

Salary: 4.5-6 lpa Designation: SE
Promotions are based on relative performance which is measured semi-annually

This is not a correct opinion..!! You may have a had experience however there many others who are happy to be part of TCS...!! You may have your own opinion but refrain from bad mouthing any organization..!! You can put down your experiences on this forum but do not try and influence..!!
