I went to numerous banks yesterday to fetch loan detail & documents required...
All banks are asking for AICTE affiliation ... I have converted TAPMI-PGDM.but how to show the banks the proof of AICTE affiliation.I mean which document will suffice the purpose?

Take a printout of the page in the website which says PGDM course is AICTE approved.

You can see this in the first 2 lines of the PGDM course overview page. I think this should suffice.

When are they going to declare results regarding remaining 60 seats of PGDM?

I hope they declare it soon as dates for start of other colleges are approaching hence..It has started causing tension for w8listers who would have to leave company on such a short notice.....

There are certain things i want to say.

First TAPMI has tie ups with HDFC, corporation and syndicate bank,
so why is every one going to sbi. The education loan rate at sbi is around 11.5% whereas in syndicate bank it is 10%.

Second thing is that has anyone confirmed that manipal university is not affiliated with AICTE or its courses are not recognized by AICTE.

Third the companies coming to TAPMI know that the student has studied in TAPMI and hence the degree offered by manipal university will not have any disadvantage.

Finally it is a good possibility that the institute will get all its courses approved by AICTE so guys just wait for that.



I can only answer the second question here and partly. Manipal University institutions and courses so far are accredited and you can find the Mandatory disclosures on the insti websites. But for starting a fresh course, AICTE approval has to be sought for THAT particular course. I suggest you guys check with TAPMI or MAnipal University whether Manipal University has applied to AICTE for accreditation of these other courses which TAPMI might start under it. The MU website where u can find contact info is www.manipal.edu.

Just called up sudeep sir.
He told the results for the BFS,HCM,IB are going to be announced by tomorrow.
He also told the next waitlist movement for PGDM would take place after 1st JUNE.
A clear picture on the extra 60 seats would be attained after 10 JUNE.:nono::drinking::banghead:

This wait is agonizing.

All this has to be clarified by the college itself...may be they will do it while giving offer letters...we have done our homework folks....I think these things can and should be answered by the college itself...

I expect all the details to be given out ....though all of us love to get into TAPMI..we need all the info before us...and we should not be in for unpleasant surprises after we join...

what I mean is everything has to be crystal clear..

Whatever it is these banks..all banks suck ..they are so pathetic....they are not transparent...education loan at 11 %...man this is horrible...add to it all that we have to go through to get a loan...we get a house loan at 8%...

Such a sad state of affairs in our country...and these are the things that are bogging down our country ...but I know none will change...

and Jyothi Mam at 0820 2701010..

Most of the time it will go to Voice mail, but ATKT (Again Trying Keep Trying) 😃 After some struggle they will pick up ur call, or else u can mail to Jyothi mam or Sudeep Sir as well..They will reply back...

Check out Canara Bank... they hav special dicount for TAPMI i heard... but t rate wont be as less as t housing loan...

How did you arrive at 8% figure. I checked in the website.

It says for Non-IIM, IIT students, rate is BPLR - 2%.
Also you can get a 1% incentive for paying interest during the moratorium period.

Considering this incentive, the rate comes to only 9%. Please tell me if I have missed something.

yea..and for girls, it will be 0.5 % less.. but it still is kinda less than what the other banks are asking for.. also u only need a 3rd party guarantor for loans upto 7.5 lac..no need of security of value.. ( atleast according to the site..)

need some suggestions
me in a bad situation

I resigned a week back and i was told that u wud be relieved by 25 june but now the date has been postponed to 1st july which is really bad.my mngr says its due to some Q2 issue (he cant help..)
i am trying to convince the authorities abt my situation but it all depends on my luk..
I have already booked tickets for 29 june from delhi....


I really donot want to miss the induction and the frst day at college but if left with no choice i wud have no other option but to skip the frst day.
wat wud i have to do in such a case ?
1)ask admissions cell permission for the same or ?
2)wat all wud i be missing if i am not there and will i be able to complete the formalities afterwards

guys plz give ur suggestions to avert the situation ..may be some idea can help me out
and also wat needs to be done fr getting this unwanted permission from college

first thing is that you should shoot a mail to sudeep sir explaining the situation..and try to get in touch with the college authorities via phone tomorrow..also try getting in touch with seniors ...they should be able to help you..

yes..since 1st july is the day of induction and registration, its definitely important.. ask if someone else can come in ur place for the registration process.. so get in touch with the college officials..

Hi buddy..im facin t same kinda predicament... even my Hr aint ready to release me until June 30... but i think t best way wud be to try n persuade them... maybe u can offer ur earned leaves n other compensations in return...or try n broker a way out... try ur luck... cuz i doubt missin t 1st day induction program is really an option...
