So you mean to say that w8list no. given to us is not the original but the upgraded one..
Thats why wrote in the post 2 days for which i was looked upon by somebody as ignorant,perhaps who doesn't read the thread properly..
PS: i didn't intend to be harsh but its just that i am sick of wtng and want to know the real status.

Hmm.. Let me try to give a clearer picture..

Merit list - 120 calls
First wait list - approx 80 calls
Sec wait list - 38 calls (Tats wat Sudeep sir told me)

So totally 240 odd ve been given calls as of now. And a waitlist movt of around 120 folks.

I am not sure about the waitlist numbers. I think wenever we called up, we were told numbers wrt to the no of people left in the waitlist. Example if we were told a number of 100. Then I think it meant tat 100 folks are above us in precedence and yet to get a confirmed admit.

We have a second instalment deadline of 27th May, and hence another movement expected on 28th. But I am not sure, if the waitlist ll move by much on 28th. As people who are rejecting after payment of 1st instalment will lose 20k. So I am afraid not many wud ve rejected.

But anyways lets hope for the best. Hope those 60 seats up for the grab turn true soon.


Nice analysis. But somewhere in this thread I read that the first waitlist movement was by 100 places. But then all this is still only a speculation.

I was told I am in the next 150 after the initial movement. Now there have been around 38 calls so I guess I should be in the next 110 people. Considering 60 more seats being added soon enough (I hope they do), then what do you think are the chances of conversion? I find lots of people in the same range as me here so I guess a reply from some senior would help all.

Will some senior be kind enough to give us info on exactly how the waitlist has moved? Thanks a ton in advance. You have done a lot already and we hope to receive the same help throughout the admission process. Thanks

Puys can anyone give me private b schools ( not nibm pune , iibf mumbai)that offer courses similar to BFS that is gonna start this year..

I know NMIMS has a banking course ...that is doing well..

You can send the confirmation email anytime before the last date given to you for depositing the fees. Also its better to attch the scanned copy of the DD in the mail.

Is that any concrete information regarding affilation of AICTE for BFS and IB.

I had a talk with sudip sir yesterday and he told me that I stand very good chances of conversion in the sectoral courses however they are still on to decide whether to start these courses or not since they have not been approved by AICTE. I was a little surprised as earlier we had received information that they would start these courses under manipal university if they did not get the AICTE approval. And I told him that I am ready to take up the course even under manipal university but he told me that the college is yet to make decisions on that and on Thursday they will let us know whether they are starting the course or not. They might not even start the courses.

ATB to all waitlised puys. Hope the courses start and we join the college.

Did he really tell you that they would come up with the sectoral courses under manipal university because when I had a talk with him he told me that they would start these courses only under AICTE otherwise not.

hi Sam,

I shall try and remember the document checklist for you. In our case, we did not have to produce any document while joining apart from the Selection letter and a Medical Certificate (you can do this at Kasturba Medical College after you reach Manipal). We had a time period of a couple of months before we had to go in for document verification.

- Marksheets (X, XII, Graduation/Diploma/both - All terms/semesters, Postgrads, etc.)
- Pass Certificates (X, XII, etc.)
- Degree Certificate (If you are a fresher you might need to get back to get it)
- If you have claimed participation at the national level or state level in any activity, carry those certificates.
- Relieving letter (If you have WorkEx) + Experience certificate

In any case, you would have prepared a dossier of all these for your interviews. So just carry it along.

Its a good idea to have a few photographs handy (you would need them for things like Phone connection application, etc.), and 2 copies of all the documents. Also carry some photocopies of some ID proof. It would come in handy for the applications like I mentioned above for photographs.

Also thers a small hitch in the postal address... mention t Postal address as mentioned in the confirmation letter u get... do not mention "Badagabettu" since posts dont go there... ny further help u need pls do get in touch...

But during the GD/PI ,we were told that they will be starting the course under MANIPAL university if they don't get AICTE affiliation. But this new twist is really a matter of concern for the waitliters...

Anywaz guys have a little patience till thursday.... the air will be cleared.. Hope that they start the new courses..... :)

1st july 9pm is t induction wich'll happen for 3 days... ( pls be on time if u wanna live )

n to ur 2nd question.. yes u need to pay both t installments within t stipulated time... else if u miss t 1st 1 then ur out n if u miss t 2nd one u lose out 20k of t 1st installment,.. if u withdraw frm t programme aftr payment of both installments u lose roughly 30k...
n if u withdraw soometime very close to joinin ul get just 15k of t entire amt back...


so be very particular abt t dates...

oops sorry typo.... 1st July 9am is t induction...

as far as t date for payment of installments is concerned i was frm t 2nd list so t cutoff dates were 21st n 27th of may...

4 u it may be different... check tat out wit t PGP office...

I talked with sudeep sir - he said they are disclosing the result for new courses on thursday and regarding affilation they will tell us later(don't know when).

And if they go with manipal university then we have to arrange our edu loan by ourselves.
