Giv me an honest opinion......i was told that my waitlist no. was somewhere in 130's.......with a movement of 38 (assuming the news is genuine) wat are my chances for PGDM with 60 extra seats being approved.

well 38 calls means that 82 have accepted their calls till now..and so the remaining 38 were offered calls ...for the 120 seats...
TAPMI is the last big college to give out the results ...so I think though there would be more waitlist calls given ..till the end...the number of calls would be pretty small..from now on..less than 38...so cant expect things to change drastically
...after the additional 60 seats are given a go ahead...I think then we will see more activity..until then
What yaar this time many people accepted the call in the first go 82 by now for 120 means rest 60 must add otherwise it will be tough go i hope te rest 60 will be added so that many more cheering faces otherwise at this rate of admission acceptance

Had a talk with Sudeep sir. He told tat the PGDM wait list will be updated today. But, there will not be huge movement.Offers for remaining 60 seats will only be given after formal approval. He didn't mention any date for this. And, he told offers for BFS and IB will be sent this thursday.He also said the merit list for all the prog are same.
When I asked for up-gradation of course, he said that it can be done. But will be based on our merit list and preferences.
Wouldnt they update it on the site...man if not ..all hell will break loose..

Finally managed to convert Tapmi. Joining the college for sure.
I will break this news to my manager tommorow morning. Don't know what will he break on me for giving him a notice period of just over a month, instead of the stipulated 3 months. I hope there are no financial repurcussions for me.

TAPMI Batch of 2012
I wanted to clear the fact that till now two w8list movements have taken place and considering the fact that in first w8list people till approx. 50 in the w8list cleared and going by the w8tng no. posted here another 38 would have cleared. So it means wtng no. till 75(being very generous ) would have cleared till now..Does it implies there were some buffer calls in the list or wtng number which they are telling is not the original one but the upgraded one..Please clarify..
Hmm.. Let me try to give a clearer picture..
Merit list - 120 calls
First wait list - approx 80 calls
Sec wait list - 38 calls (Tats wat Sudeep sir told me)
So totally 240 odd ve been given calls as of now. And a waitlist movt of around 120 folks.
I am not sure about the waitlist numbers. I think wenever we called up, we were told numbers wrt to the no of people left in the waitlist. Example if we were told a number of 100. Then I think it meant tat 100 folks are above us in precedence and yet to get a confirmed admit.
We have a second instalment deadline of 27th May, and hence another movement expected on 28th. But I am not sure, if the waitlist ll move by much on 28th. As people who are rejecting after payment of 1st instalment will lose 20k. So I am afraid not many wud ve rejected.
But anyways lets hope for the best. Hope those 60 seats up for the grab turn true soon.
