New batch has to report by 13th july. First installment has to be paid in a week. Orientation on 14th. Classes to begin on 15th.
Finding it hard to express myself now. Can't express the anxiety, pain, anguish of the past few days and now the excitement... This would be something to remember...CAT09 season.
hey.. Jst now i got a cal frm TAPMi nd also dey sent me a mail sayin got selected frm waitlist after da addition of 60 seats.. i wont be joinin nyways since i already joined BIM Trichy.. All da best to the Waitlisted puys..!!

abt updates frm my side, wen i called up,they were thinkin abt discussin the manipal university option 4 other courses...but i dont think anything wud happen ...why did they assure us they wud start under manipal univ in the interview... 😞

And don't worry. I received the European studies course e-mail almost a day after the others had received it.
So, if you don't receive the mail today, there's still chance that you could get it in a day or two.

Puys, I have got through PGDM today. Received the mail from TAPMI, not a call though as my contact number got updated. I am in a dilemma and would expect your intelligent advice here. I have already got through in PGDM (Executive) at IMT Ghaziabad. It is a 15 months full time program for ppl with 5 yrs+ of work experience.
But, I actually entered in this process of appearing for CAT and other competitive examinations with a target to pursue a complete, 2 year MBA program from one of the estemed institutes. And, I know that TPMI is one of these. As is the case with many, the Online CAT eluded me with a comparatively lower percentile of 89.
Since, the classes for the PGDM program at IMT start from this Monday, I need to take the decision by this saturday whether to withdraw admission from there and join TAPMI. I have full 5 years of work experience till date. Please advice me which program is better out of the two (1 year or 2 year). I know certain advantages and disadvantages of the two types of programs but really need to know the ground realities. I would sincerely appreciate your apt reply on this. If you wish, please PM me the same.
l also converted pgdm in TAPMI today but not joining so waitlisters can rejoice..Wd have thought of joining if it wd have arrived before 14th june...

If you are keen for a 2 years programme, TAPMI is a very option, however, executive MBA is always suggested for any person with 5 year + experience. Also, IMT tag can give you long term benefits...

Well..I don't know much about Executive MBA.
Do they provide placements?
You would need to do the basic research like compare subjects of both the courses, the fees, faculty etc.
IMT-G is ranked higher than TAPMI, acc to PG.
I think seniors in this thread can help you out.
They can tell you what was the placement scenario for the Laterals this year.
You can compare that with IMT-G and then take a decision accordingly.

Since TAPMI has made offer so late in the season when most of the Institutes have already begun their session, I believe WL no. till 120-150 stand a good chance of making it. Even Sudeep Sir also acknowledged this fact when I talked to him this afternoon. You will get confirmed data from Admin Dept. only.
If we go by the response on PG, I think the final selection list may well stretch beyond WL no. 150-175. Considering the WL movement for initial 120 seats, those who were ranked 300-350 or may be more initially stand a good chance.

At last... yes... I got the mail from Tapmi.. Our 2 month wait has finally come to an end.. I congratulate all puys who have converted... All the best to all the waitlisted puys.. I expect a long waitlist movement as most of the B-Schools have already started..
Next thing is to withdraw frm my current college(hope they refund the fees)..
I feel sorry for the guys who were first selected for sectoral courses.. I will pray that Tapmi will start these courses with approval from manipal univ..
