You learn so many things while waiting : Keeping up the enthusiasm, faith, hope, patience, anguish, pain, disheartenment.
Man this has been one hell of a ride!!
Yeah..This would serve as the best example of how the admission process should not be handled.
Final thoughts : For the past two months or so, I had been focussing only on this opportunity. I did let go certain other opportunities; no regrets. But, I believe time has come. Whatever happens tomorrow, this incident is already closed for me. I had to take a final call today & I did. I had to flow with the tide; couldn't risk any further. So, untill or unless something miracleous happens by tomorrow morning, I am out of this race now. Heartbreak of sorts. I don't think TAPMI seat is worth the price the situation demands me to pay now.:-( All the best to everyone. I will continue praying for all you guys who needed this opportunity as badly as me.

Is the approval for only PGDM? Wat about sectoral courses?
Dear All... TAPMI has got approval for extra 60 seats of PGDM... the results for these seats would be declared soon (might be even by EOD today). Details about when the college will start for these extra seats would also be known soon (a meeting is awaited)...
* For sectoral courses, no information has been declared by AICTE (whether it is approved or rejected).. so the wait for these seats still continue....
hi! but there's 'zero' in front of the sectoral courses ...doesn't that mean not approved..? can u or someone pls confirm and tell......i think its not approved.....sad end to a long wait....
Just had a talk with the college Administration...they say they have received the confirmation for 60 PGDM seats and have not been given any info by AICTE on other courses. They told me that it would be very tough for them to wait for other courses approval, and that they will go ahead with only PGDM. Bottom line, only 60 seats have been approved. Best of luck to all who do make it. I think i need to start searching for a job.
Expect the offer letter & other updates by the end of day today. Sudeep Sir also said that joining most likely would be by mid next week only. The new batch might miss orientation so they will plan orientation along with classes next week. Site still not updated with results.
hii all...i am following this thread from the very first day..suffer with all the waitlisters, as tapmi is my last hope..at last the approval for those 60 coveted seats come...big relief... !!!!!!!!!!!!!! but still not sure about conversion...praying for this from last 2 months...let see what hapn...
You're welcome! But I'm not gonna make the cut! :-( I've received the mail for the European Studies course. As such, my WL no. is / was somewhere in the 400s. And even if by fluke I do, I can't just abscond from my current employment. Because if I do, I'd be shutting the doors to this company forever, and unfortunately, this turns out to be the biggest credit rating company in India. Anyways, best of luck to everyone and have a huge b**r bash today to celebrate!

If I was a PGDM student, I would've rejoiced more at sectorals not being approved than additional 60 PGDM seats being approved! Severely cuts down competition (50%) for placements.
Layout is still the same, but this line has been added with the e-Governance course ticker:
AICTE approves intake of 180 students for PGDM of TAPMI
And I think that the sectorals are officially scrapped for this year. They've even taken the results off the homepage. P.S: No change in status, but then, I'm not expecting one too! So you'll have to wait for someone else to post!
