yeah...probably the biggest day of the season for me comes 2-3 days after the longest day of the year..;) & i am sure waiting for the verdict will finally make it the longest as well.

Till now I was a silent spectator to this thread....but I just wanted to tell you that I'm praying for the AICTE approval to come....I really really hope that all of you guys who have waited and suffered for sooooo long(including me) get through....I've been to Manipal before....Its the place to be
....If u get selected u'll forget these painful experiences in just a matter of time and will feel that it is worth the wait:-P....God bless.

i have just had a talk with a senior at tapmi and he says that the one mba college which has been approved by aicte is a new college. tapmi is an old college and it has applied for additional seats so they still do not know about any approval. but he told me that he will check it up with the admission office and let us know. till then let us wait. i have also called admissions office many times. no one is answering. some of you may also give it a try. may be we will get some information from the admissions office.

The article is about new colleges and not the existing one. There will be a separate list for that. Plus the article is about the southern region. I think ( mite be wrong ) that TAPMI falls under south western region under AICTE. Anyways , the good news is that AICTE has started coming out wid the list of approvals. So at max, we will know it in a day or 2.

Puys, I just chkd with the admission office. What I got to know was the 26th is the date which AICTE has given when they will come out with the new list of approvals. So don't think there is any point calling up the admission office, keep checking the news sites instead. Guess the Karnataka CET has also suspended its admission process waiting for AICTE approvals to various colleges. So this should come in the news...

I can imagine. Fees is becoming a major reason why people are joining other institutes. Hope they come out with the list soon enough.

??? I still don't get that. It should be known whether or not college has got approval so that one can mentally prepare. At most, situation should be clear by sunday morning.
