bcoz of tht d merit list is getting altered nd affected again nd again...thts d reason he is sayin it to be...
he din specify any particular tym or date...!!!
I hope something good will come out of this delay. If this is so then we will have better chances of getting our preferred posts.
PS: I doubt that both sandip and akash are talking about the same allocation. Sandip (as well as me) is enquiring about CBDT but Akash is referring CBEC. Anyways.

to be honest bhai...i think this is all rubbish..last 4-5 months se alag-alag reasons de rhe hain department ke log and we are being misguided....yaar har department mein log aate aur jaate rehte hain.... someone had filed an RTI and the reason CBEC gave was some c.ex. zones had not confirmed the no. of vacancies... and now i've come to know that patna c.ex. zone mein 2008 batch ke logo ne abhi tak join nhi kiya hai(they are expected to join with in next month)
It shows the inefficiency of the departments...join karne se pehle itna rula rhe hain...baad mein pata nhi kya hoga....and now i'm seriously considering other optionsl...and i'll advice other guys also to look for other options as well...
dont worry guys. the 2008 batch inspectors and tax assistants in CBEC have mostly been appointed and only a few pending cases are yet to join - the bottom line is that all ve received their appointment orders. there was no exam for ta in 2009. so probably this is the least time the dept is taking -atleast we can assume so, inorder to assuage our agony. filing rti or grievance redressal complaints are not gonna be of any use in this case as all the inept govt. depts in this country know how to answer those queries and keep us at bay. probably we can ask someone that has joined as a 2008 candidate and can reach him/her thru facebuk,orkut etc. lets hope for the best and wait for a few more days. but i think ssc is as much at fault as the user depts as they can get confirmation beforehand from these bench warmers abt the maximum time required to complete the joining process for the candidates it selects. i think none wud disagree that as ssc candidates we deserve a little more care from ssc and its tweeting chairman, rather than jus go on recruiting people and antagonise more and more young ppl dying to make ends meet. meanwhile wait for upsc prelims results to be declared this week mst prbbly and lets hope all is well...cheer up folks...

yes i was talking abt CBEC being excise inspector...but things r quite d same in both CBDT nd CBEC...!!!

I also consider dis reasoning nonsense....dey dun hav any gud enogh reasn to keep us waitin.... feel disgusted whn people ask abt joining crap...nd yes u r rite still 2008 people r waitin fo joining...
CBI walon ki training bhi start ho gayi h nd we still dun hav any bloody clue abt ours...

You r right. I got the same news. CBDT people are even replying to queries about this on phone as told to me by someone. Very soon it will be uploaded on CBDT site.

Yesterday they were attending telephonic queries and even gave to some of the candidates their allotted zones. Someone having 101 rank in ITI claimed to have got his first choice. Today again they went incommunicado and it was difficult to get them on the phone. Let's wait and see. Till then there's no option.

I just confirmed from cbdt hrd section over phone that zone allocation of tax assistant will be completed by one month.Now it has completed only for ITIs.
today afternoon, an official answered that allocation could be completed within one week. Wait and see.....
