thanks dear, i think we should not expect the joining before 6 months,what about the physical and medical in cbec ,it is tough or easy ,unless it happens we cant be sure of selection....

There is no physical. The medical involves routine tests like blood, urine, sugar etc. If u r in good health, the medical should not be a problem.

there is physical like walking and cycling in central excise inspector,,,its not in income tax.i wnt to know whether any practise is necessary for that,,,i heard it that it is not that tough bt why take chances

Its recommended that you practice and see that you are fine for it. You can see the requirements in this year's Notification.

called up CBEC today....dey stil say it wil take 2-3 months fo zone allocation itself...

No. They will not be reporting now. First the allocation of Zones has to be done. After the allocation is done, concerned chief commissioner of IT will ask the candidates to complete the joining formalities like medical examination, police verification etc. This will be followed by the offer letter.

bro by GOD grace mine has been cleared.and in new list it shows nominated.

one of my frnds calld CBDT..........dey said zone allocation will be done arnd 15th of july......as sum problem has crept in allocation i.e woman, ex servicemen, handicapped etc......


so aish karo bhaiyo........

u all can call up CBDT 2 confirm urslf too...........


may be dey said dis out of frustration as lot of us are callin dem bt who knws..

you just go direct inspectors community at orkut and update urself with current news about zone allocation as per guys informations zone may be allotted within 15 days so cool bhai just wait for happening.

Atul in direct it community most of the guys are answering on the basis of CBDT's reply and you know CBDT is not credible.
Don't expect much to be completed it within 15th july.Lets wait and see when the day comes.
