if possible please guess the tier I cutoff

For a general candidate a score of 110 should be a safe bet. For other categories it will be lower.

".. .. realy guys wait is only thing dat v can do. . . .earlier d officials were saying dat allocation for cgl 2010 of tax assistant wil be done in 1st week of july. . And nw wen i cald they told me to wait til 1st week of august. . Dis is'nt gud on their part"

Ssc wr ki website par kuch candidates ke liye kaha gaya hain ki kyon na unka cadidature cancel kar diya jaya koi iske bare main kuch bata sakta hain

"two possible reasons for late joining (in CBEC). 1. the dept gives increment in july every year, so if we would have got joining then we were also entitled to get the increment so to avoid it they are delaying the process nd 2. there is interdepartmental promotions going on in MP zone(i dont have info about other regions) so to avoid complication of seniority and other things we will be getting joining once they are done with it."

@rahul!! actually me hum logo ka status august last tak clear hoga.Ramesh chandra ne humse kaha tha ki beta paresaan mat ho august last tak sb thk ho jayega

There may be some discrepancies in their documents or they might have given some false declaration. Same type of memo have been issued to some candidates in ER also and are available on sscnr site.

CGL 2008 ka joining Dec 2010 mein hua tha which means it took three year for them. Let's hope we are luckier.

actually, the final result of cgl 2008 was announced in april 2010..so it took them around 8 months for the joining...and hopefully, we may also join within 8 months of result declaration..

Do u have any idea about the medical and verification process of Delhi region? Whether they do it before joining or after? Because it would be tough to complete them within the year knowing fully well that allocation is not done so far.Allocation for CGL 08 candidates was done on 27.09.2010 i.e. 5 months after joining whereas even 7 months after declaration of result we r yet to see the allocation. The letter of allocation (F.No.A-12021/ 12/2010-Ad.VII dt 27.9.10 available on income tax site under departmental news) clearly says that medical, verification of character etc is to be completed before issuing offer of appointment.
