Hey I had 96.43 percentile while the call mail says I am called for CM course, but below it also mentions dual specialization. ne1 having same problems???? puhleeezzz help...

I'm new on the boards. I scored 96.04 in XAt and got a call from XLRI. HOWEVER, I have't received a call from SIBM. Breakup is 95, 95 and 62 (awareness). Is it because they have sectional cutoffs? Or something else? Please help.
i mean seriously i am in..............with 48.35%tile of XAT.....i simply cant beleive it......:shock: well i applied for CM.....any ideas for the cut off?...seems like it is pretty low!... my break up......... QA 12.89% 21.02%TILE VA 35.38% 54.76%tile ga 18% 26.38%tile
so they considered only va??? ki farak pendha?!!!..........i have to get set go for GD n pi!! wish me luck

No mate, it's precisely because they don't have sectional cut-offs that you haven't got through. For XLRI, the only section looked at was QA, where since you have 95+ you would be through.
For SIBM the over score is looked at and the cut-off seems to be in the region of 96.20 so you prolly just missed out.
XLRI of course has a much higher Brand Equity and placements so if you convert that you're better off. ATB with that.
hi got call from simb:smile: (after ximb debacle) my interview is scheduled for 16 feb group no 33 label 2yf xat percentile 99.06 don't know how will i manage 16 feb as my irma interview on 15 feb i will try to call these guys for shifting it to 17(16) guys in case of choosing irma (intr)or sibm(intr) which gd pi should i pick waiting for responses and ATB for next round

my XAT percentile is 95.83 and so dint clear the cut off by SIBM....... i was expecting the call from them but then......
anyways coming to the point..... u can attend both if everything goes well and if u can manage little hardships.
there is an shatabdi from Anand at 15.30 which would reach bombay at 21.45 i guess and from ther u can reach pune either by train or bus..... so infact u can attend both but u might be little tired...... i think u would be able to adjust..... now that u have got both the calls i think u shud atleast try and attend both......
hey androidI'm sailing in the same boat as yours. I've got calls from IITd & KGP. Somehow SIBM doesnot impress me. Is it even accerdiated by AICTE / UGC? I cant decide even if i make into IIT M, K or R would they be worth leaving for SIBM? well atleast you have found its a risk of 20k only, i'm not yet decided if i'll attend the SIBM interview at all. BTW i check from railway's site, no tickets are available around those dates.
Hi relaxingh...........so decided regarding attending the interview or not. Me now wondering about the railway schedule.......but still not dead sure .......this call gave more questions rather than answers to me:whatthat: !!!!!!
