may be 2 stands for the day like 1 for 15th(mine is on 15th and the code is 1YH)and 2 for 16th.
y might be the common thing.(not sure though)
D may be the number of the grp that day may be 4th grp that day or may be they have simultaneous gd`s.well can decipher only this much........
may be i am wrong,but u never know.....

dilemma is I would be having my IIT interviews in the window of 5-7th March.......n I would like to convert Bomb,Del,Kharagpur(lure of being an IITian )..............so I would be in a dilemma if I secure an admission in SIBM........moreover I don't have much foreknowledge about SIBM(my mistake I did not research much)..........got 2 know of the GD/PI only in Pune thing after purchasing the brochure.....the glossy brochure/innumerable postponement of last date of application etc. made me think of this as a money minded institute......but i have no other Knowledge of it other than it being the premier most Symbiosis flag-bearer and good average salary packages.
If you or someone else could divulge its standing, n its comparision vis-a vis the IIT's.........
One more question
One has to arrange for accomodation in Pune or SIBM authorities would help in that??

The best thing is girls must come in sarees and the worse thing is I am not shortlisted. Wished I could have made it .. should have been a bit more careful on the GK part(1 percentile in GK).

I think IIT-mumbai wins hands down, no second thoughts. if I had a choice I would prefer even IIT-D for the brand name. SIBM is good institute no doubt about that but I feel infrastructure, faculty wise IIT-mumbai and Delhi to some exent are better. Regarding Kharagpur, in my opinion I would opt for SIBM. These are STRICTLY my opinions rest is upto you which institute you want to choose.

Hows SIBM vis-a-vis IMI, FORE, TAPMI ? How is the GD/PI session here? have heard there are some pretty strict rules regarding dress code etc.Is that true?
Have my GD/PI for 16th, but I also have a GD/PI on 15t for FORE in Delhi. How far is the insti from the airport?
Also, I have TAPMI on 18th - I need to start from Delhi on 17th for that.
Any suggestions on what I can do?

hey androidI'm sailing in the same boat as yours. I've got calls from IITd & KGP. Somehow SIBM doesnot impress me. Is it even accerdiated by AICTE / UGC?
I cant decide even if i make into IIT M, K or R would they be worth leaving for SIBM?
well atleast you have found its a risk of 20k only, i'm not yet decided if i'll attend the SIBM interview at all.
BTW i check from railway's site, no tickets are available around those dates.
I got shortlisted with a net %ile of 98 and GK 58 odd... Glad to know SIBM doesn't care about sectionals.
My GD / PI is on Feb 15th - Group 8 (at 08:00).
Anyone in the same group - do PM me. Anyone leaving from B'lore for this?
